i was watching highlights on ESPN last nite and they're very impressed by this Darvish kid who plays for Japan's National baseball team


They said the New phenom of baseball...he's HALF IRANIAN-HALF JAPANESE...yesterday Japan beat China 4-0

right now is the world cup of baseball

yup, guy was born in osaka japan and is a pitcher..he looks japanese (but the iranian in him lets him grow facial hair lol)..hes 6 ft 5 and thats a great height for his position and is probably being scouted around..

holy shit i didnt realize he was that damn talll.... i saw some quick highlights and he actually looked to be skinny and short but i guess it has to do with the baseball outfits

There are numerous tall pitchers in the league...

Darvish is going to be an OK to good pitcher...but thats about it...

Japanese pitchers don't have the best track record.

he didn't do well initially...and his performance really hasn't warranted the contract he's received until recently. His first year he was 3 games above .500...on the SOX of all teams!
