Davari named ‘Man of the Match’ in Germany

The 26-year-old, who had just informed his club that he won’t extend his contract beyond summer, had several amazing saves in the 0-2 loss against Freiburg and earned praise from many different German media outlets.
Famous sports magazine ‘kicker’ rated Davari with a 1.5, the second best available grade, and named him as man of the match, stating that “being left alone by his teammates he single-handedly saved his team from a thrashing”.
Braunschweig still stand on bottom of the table with four rounds to go, two points behind a playoff slot.
