One more trophy for Nekounam in his club career

Loading...Persianfootball.com – KUWAIT CITY, Team Melli Captain, Javad Nekounam managed to add a new trophy to his club playing career achievements.
According to Khabar Online, Farda News and several other Iranian media, on Wednesday 7 May, Javad Nekounam’s Al Kuwait defeated Al Qadisia 4-3 in penalties after a final score of 1-1 after extra time, and won Kuwait’s Emir Cup. It must be noted that Al Kuwait played with 10 men from the 107th minute.
Javad Nekounam was not amongst the penalty-takers, however he proudly celebrated this achievement with flying the flag of Iran.
Thus far Nekounam’s club trophies are 2003-04 Persian Gulf Cup(Iran Pro League) with Pas Tehran, 2012-13 Persian Gulf Cup with Esteghlal and 2013-14 Kuwait’s Emir Cup.
