Ezatollahi debuts for Atletico u-19, Jahanbakhsh shines

Loading...Persianfootball.com – MADRID, Upon the arrival of his international transfer card (ITC) and recovery from the injury he had sustained during the AFC u-19 Asian Championship, Saeid Ezatollahi finally celebrated his long awaited debut for Atletico Madrid’s u-19.
The 18-year-old started in the 4-2 league win over Alcorcon on Saturday before being subbed out after 73 minutes.
Ezatollahi had joined Atletico from Malavan in summer, but his debut had to be postponed due to administrative issues, national team duty and injury.
Meanwhile Alireza Jahanbakhsh continues to shine in Dutch second league. The 20-year-old scored the first goal, created the second and directly assisted the final two goals in a 4-1 league win on Friday.
Jahanbakhsh, in league and Cup combined, has now 8 goals and 11 assists to his name this season.
On Saturday, both Javad Nekounam and Karim Ansarifard played the full 90 minutes as Osasuna dominated Girona for 90 minutes, but failed to break the deadlock. Both players showed a satisfying performance in the goalless draw.
The weekend was less pleasing for the other three Iranians in Europe. Alireza Haghighi conceded half a dozen as Penafiel were hammered 1-6 by Braga.
Daniel Davari once more remained on the bench in a 3-3 draw while Sardar Azmoun also didn’t come into play in Rubin Kazan’s 1-1 tie with Dinamo Moscow.
