Persepolis beats Belgium’s KAS Eupen in friendly

Tasnim – DOHA, Iranian football giant Persepolis defeated Belgium First Division A KAS Eupen 2-1 in a friendly match on Sunday.

In the match, held at the Aspire Academy complex in Doha, Qatar, Saeid Karimi and Mohammad Amin Asadi scored for the Reds in the 85^th and 90^th minutes respectively.

Al Sadd Spaniard star Xavi Hernandez attended the friendly match.

Persepolis, who has won Iran Professional League in the last two seasons, seeks to claim the title for the third time in a row.

The Iranian team is also preparing for the 2019 AFC Champions League.
