PFDC - MUNICH, Despite both Iranian and German officials having already announced, the friendly encounter between three times Asian Champions Iran and three times World Champions Germany would certainly take place in October, yesterday, German Federation's press spokesman today revealed that nothing has been finalized yet.

"There were positive talks, however, no definite decision, if this match will happen, has been made yet", Harald Stenger told German online sports portal sport1.de. "Some unsolved issues still exist", he added.

After a visit from a German delegation to Tehran this weekend October 9 had been announced as match day, but the Iranian Federation now requested to play the match a day earlier, due to Iran's World Cup Qualifier against Qatar, which is scheduled for October 13.
