    I'm so excited
    I just can't hide it
    I'm about to lose control
and I think I like it
I just hope Branko Ivankovic does not ruin it for us!

Does anyone know if the decision of which countries go into which pot (A,B,C,D)
is made the same day just prior to the draw or in advance? If in advance,
      when is that decision made?

        Good question.
With regards to Iran since we became 2nd in the group I think we are going to be in pot D; Japan will be in pot C!

I think this would be a good group for us:

            Argentina, England, Holland, Iran

I believe the pots will be decided beforehand, maybe a week or so earlier. I hope Karimi will be asia's representative.

                        Dino jaan,
Leipzig is indeed in Germany and 8:30 PM is the local time (Leipzig/Germany) for the ceremony.

                          Iran's Glorious World Cup

zeerak, I think any team would be challanging for Iran.
We can be confident that Iran will have a glorious World Cup.
Maybe the best so far no matter which sides we face in the 1st round.

I only hope we can do as well as the potential we have, that is, if Branko does not screw it up!
