I don't mind this one at all, but put Nosrati where you have "defence", put Sadeghi, where Nosrati is at, and swap Mahdavikia and Kaebi's places. That gives you two young defenders and two expericed ones in Kia and Rezai, a fairly experienced midfield and in the forward you have Hashemian who scores the goals and the speed of Borhani/Kazemian/Akbarpour/Oladi.

i also like this formation b/c it promotes competition from 2 of our foreign based players in teymourian and nekounam, meaning that position will only get stronger.

also, karimi in and around the 18 yard box is just lethal...one move and he's beside the net

i like shojaei as a winger, as he has the ability to beat his marker and get in a cross for the likes of hashemian up front

kaebi on the left my resolve the left wing issues and give enough support for ma'adanchi to make decisive runs

nosrati and fekri are 2 solid CB, although fekri is quite old...we have good defenders in the ranks anyways.

i just wish zandi could be called back to tm and play as a playmaker behind our 2 strikers...his style of play is necessary in tm

can kaebi play on the left? I think it would be more realistic to play mahdavikia as LB and kaebi as RB. That would be great

I think with our given talent, and our players available to us, the 4-2-3-1 is the best option, With Vahid as lone striker. We have nobody to pair him up with so we have to go lone striker formation

We cannot have only one system. since we play in Asia, there are a few teams that play better football than we do, like Japan, Korea, Austrailia, and KSA. Against such teams a 4.2.3.1 system would be best.

Against the teams that are below us, we can play a more offensive formation like 4.2.2.2 or 4.1.3.2 or even a 4.3.3.

and then against the really poor teams of Asia we can play with 4 forwards, and no one would care.

I think using the rirght players for the chosen formation is more important than what formation we play.

One formation I would really like to see given a chance, is this:

i dont know about that, teymourian has no offensive skills whatsoever. That isnt going to work. MAYBE if you switch nekounam and teymourian, but it still isnt good.
