    IPL Football "PLUS" talk...

Is this Eteghlal team looking championship matterial or what? I did not see today's game against ZZ, but I must tell you even before the season I was predicting Esteghlal to make a good run but at this point, as much as I hate to say that as a Perspolis fan, I must admit, no other team seems to have what SS has..they have not conceded in some 5-6 games and are leading the table....!!! I don't know if they will start choking again at the end of the season as usual, but at this point, Esteghlal seems to be winning it all!!!
As for the other teams that are at least on paper going to challenge ss, well, the Surprise Saipa team has done so well even the team management was not expecting it!!! they won't finish top 2 though I don't think, but more powe to them for making such a great run to the top of the table..
And what the hell is going on with ZobAhan, 4th lost in a row!!!!wow, I can't see them revcover from this...
Sepahan, Pas and Perspolis; all same story, INCONSISTENCY.
Foolad, not even half of the strenght they had last year, certainly not challenging anything, yet alone championship.
I don't see any other team that could make a run to the top unless Perspolis can make some changes in coaching staff and with players the Red giants have, it might not be too late, but the again...
My point being, as a Perspolis fan I must admit this season so far that only team that so far deserves the top spot is Esteghlal, that might change soon knowing ss's history in the IPL, but I really like to see Pas, Perspolis and Sepahan go at it and make an exciting last 10 weeks or so.

Why are you stuck with the coaching staff of persepolis!!?
    Dige bayad chikar konan!!?
From the season start up to now they have not gotten a penny! players and the staff and this is the second half of the league!
Persepolis played all out and attack with a great and beautiful flow but the players ( on top of them Madanchi the knucklehead) ruined 9 goals.

I think it is not just and fair to complain about the people that are doing their job in this kind of an environment. Shoma coach mikhay befarma biyar!! persepoliso daran gardan meezanan to hanooz andar kham yek koocheye coachi...they ruined all the efforts of giving it out to private sector, and many other issues including the players without money ( btw the only ipl team in that situation is us!) then u r just bashing the coaching staff...u wanna help persepolis then help them with at least constructive criticism..akhe hameen alan hiddinko biyaran chi meeshe!!? so the problem is elsewhere ...

you know what pisses me off perspoless jan,,it is to see oon martikeye kachal bisavad Ibrahim as our HEAD COACH!!! Dr., we all know he is NOT up to it, even the management, including Ansarifar, which I am very happy he has taken over the job, knows that the coaching staff, on top of them Ibrahimi dar hado andazeyeh Perspolis nistan (this goes for Estili too, heshould have started with our youth teams)...This is a fact.
About the money situation, the money is coming in, Ansarifar has worked some new deals out and he has promissed money will come in before the end of the season, I believe him cause I know he cares, he has been part of Perspolis for years, he is no ghamkhar or khatib,...that's not my issue here....my problem is with the fact that if Perspolis gets the money and brings a actual football coach, whether Irooni ya khareji, this same team that you say played good football yesterday is capable of playing the best football in Iran,,,ss should be no where near us, but yet you see on the top,,,yes perspolis has no money, yes there are whole of shit going on in the management and partially still is,,,,but agha perspoless do you honestly think even under the current problems we should be happy with someone like ibrahimi to sit on our bench?
Na dr., I don't care what Parvin does anymore, whether constructive, or destructive, but Perspolis deserves a much better coaching staff, even at this point in its history(I can't remember a lower era!) with all the things we are dealing with...you might not agree, but no matter how much the players might fall short in getting results, the coaches should be the real deal running some blood into the team. IBRAHIMI HAS AS PREDICTED FAILED US IN EVERY DEPARTMENT.

I am sorry but ibrahimi is not bisavad. He is bvery up to date and always tries to read more and learn more.
As I said critiques like you who say stuff like his face is tekrari or he is bisavad are just after demeaning the team and nothing else.
He is in fact much more knowledgable and achieved much more than say korbakandi, or ghalenoee all together.

I do care what parvin does because what he does has a direct impact on my beloved team. I know for a fact that without parvin we did not have any one playing for the team or signing white with the club! Players love him and respect him and I personally believe that to this date roo daste parvin az nazare mohrechini va bazikhooni too iran adam nayoomade.

Now again I say they are beheading persepolis to too nakhe coach geer kardi!!?
How would you feel if you were not paid a dime and u have rolled your sleeves up and working from heart to acomplish something and then they come and say we are going to bring the best int eh world!!

persepolis to this date if it is called persepolis is because of mellate iran and parvin as its leader who kept it alive. Management has a lot to prove first and foremost rather than ruining our chances of getting to private sector or playing our staff and players hey zerzer meekonan coach miyareem el meekoneem bel meekoneem...

dont get me wrong they need time and we have fundamental issues but trust me that putting down ebrahimi and with fohsh be parvin u r doing what an esteghlaliye would do!l

thanks for accusing me of wanting to "deaming Perspolis" dr. jan, that's certainly the first time I have been accused of that ! but it's ok, we are among friends,,,now back to the topic:
I am not sure what makes you believe Ibrahimi deserves to coach Perspolis, or how and based on which of his accomplishments do you consider him a good coach, yet alone coaching Iran's most popular football club!!! I am sure it is not because he is Parvin's friend and if it wasn't because of Parvin he would be coaching some 2nd division team now, if that...I am sure you have your own reasons to think of him what you think of him...I can't change your mind and I won't try to do so as you are a much more exprienced football fan and have been around much longer than I have...
As for Parvin, you might think I have something against him, well I don't..I do however think he is a classic/traditional football analist/coach that his time for coaching is long expired and he should stick to what he is good at, which is looking over things in the club and not get into mohreh chini and other things..again we disagree on that too perhaps, but that is the beauty of these discussions....

btw, let me know if you are headed to Germany in the summer dr., I am for sure there, let me know what your plans are.

Also they lost some key players who were regulars or fixed last year: Mobali, Badavi, Milad, Momenzadeh and Hajipour, plus the fact that their home stadium (Takhti Ahvaz) is under construction and they have been playing their home games in another city.

I recently read an interview with Estaghlal captain Fekri who said a big part of their good run this year has been the fact that there has been very little change to their lineup from the past few years so everyone is familiar with each other. That maybe the reason why Enayati does so well in SS but cannot perform in TM.

By the way, I do not attribute their lack of form lately to "unprofessionalism" per se, but losing motivation because of winning it all last year, is a very valid point to make. I hope they can at least concentrate on the ACL.

Foolad traditionally does poorly against the Isfahani teams and they tend to slip up against the Northern teams from time to time, in the away matches. Now, someone correctly mentioned to me that the issue with the northern teams (in away matches) is related to the quality of their pitches: The pitches are often soaked in rain and highly wet during this time of the year, and Foolad players are particularly not used to it.

With the Isfahani teams the story is different. I think there is a psychological factor involved in there which I do not fully understand.

And its funny how the Brazilian coach of Sepahan have not utilized the massive striking force there is available in Sepahan

                        Mahmood Karimi
                        Bezic
                        Khatibi

All having a terrible season wich really is costing Sepahan

azizam you do not know ebrahimi then! simple as that...
and again you are not using logic to talk about ebrahimi or parvin. you are using your feelings that are tainted at best.

dooste man when people are out there working for free to put the team together the least you can do is not to swear at them!

Persepolis has started late and has had many problems yet they have pulled themselves up and you have to admit that they are playing a good football nowadays. We were unlucky but overall I think ye khaste nabasheed behtar as in karhast.
I think persepolis has many other issues that take preedence over the coach issue.

As far as WC I am going to try my best to be there and maybe we can hookup aziz. keep in touch and I will know mre when we get closer. I have plenty of research and office and OR that I have to shuffle around to take off for couple of weeks. I am going to do it if I can, even if Daei is still gonna be there with Branko...these two are making me vomit!

I voted Esteghlal, but I still have doubts about them. They are not the most skillful team , nor the most talented but they have bits of everything that others lack.

Biggest problem of teams at the top is their lack of consistency. But it seems all IPL clubs have this problem.
