According to the spokesman of the international relations of the IRIFF, About an hour ago ( 18:30 CET ) AFC's last minute proposal was received by the IRIFF.
IRIB 1 sports news in an interview with the IRIFF official reported that Bin Homam in a Fax to IRIFF had informed that as soon as the proposal of FIFA & AFC on the formation of a 5 member committe is accepted by IRIFF, the suspension would be removed at once.
The mentioned committe would be comprised of 3 AFC representatives and 2 Iranian officials that would temporarily run the football affairs of Iran and meanwhile make the necessary changes in the constitution of IRIFF and at the same time prepare the grounds for the election of the IRIFF officials.

The report said if this proposal is accepted then Iran could take part in the Asian Games.
However IRINN did not report anything on this matter nor on the important issue of the suspension.

Lets hope the report by IRIB 1 is true and correct and that the proposal is accepted without delay so that Iran's U-23 team could fly to Doha immediately

If IR has any senses at all they will accept this proposal IMMEDIATELY. They will gain ABSOLUTELY NOTHING by being stubborn and fighting FIFA's authority. Just recall the 1986 World Cup. By the way I did send an email to Ahmadi-Nejad about this.
