if the first 3 games are any stick to go by, then I wont be too sad if he leaves.

his team has shown one dimensional tactics ( send the ball, from wherever in our field ) behind the opponent's defense !
that's it.
nothing else !

and his substitutions and decision making regarding the line ups havent been fantastic either.

so if this is what he is capable of, then I must say : kheye peesh, amoo sibiloo.
make way for someone more capable.

i agree with peyman,,,
we didnt have a very good display (although i watched only first 2 games),
we didnt prepare our youngsters for the next olympics, and we didnt win any medal either!(unless some miracle happens, we will lose the bronze medal to korea as well)
wat did we really gain from this tourney? maybe some experience for our younger players but almost none of them would be of any help to TM either, so that we can atleast say these guys got some international experience!

i really dont see why all the hype about him, after all these matches?
i guess the only think that came our of this tourney was the proof of overhyping simoez..

Oh man, All I can say now is that we have to do something about our football. With or without Simoez. The future dont look good. Regardless the Bronz medal, I think this was one of the worst iranian team. They told us that they didn't try to play beutiful because you cant win games by only playing beutiful. It's the points and the championship that counts but this team, either played good football or won the tournament.

And I bet you will get another result if you make a new identical poll.

Always hard to say what was the coach's fault and what the players', but he made a lot of decisions I couldn't understand and the display was horrible. The results were not satisfying as well so I'm not sad he's leaving.
