I have lost internet connection before the first day of the Asian Games until yesterday (2 weeks exactly) but I wrote several articles crticizing the teams's performance and particularly the coach lack of vision , strategy and skills. MAybe he had limited cards on his hand , but that is also his fault becuse he had plenty of time in Iran to make the right selection ( specially in the midfiled)
Defeats and victories are shared by all , but I truely beleive that the coach shortcoming was major in this case.
I also think that Borhani has proven to be the wrong material for national teams along with Ouladi...Team Melli has to look somewhere else for a centere forward or strikers.....If by this time , Borhani & Ouladi have not learend the basics of team football , there is a fat chance that they will , when the team really needs quality players.
If there are no serious contenders for the post in Team Melli and we are stuck with them , Team Melli prospects looks dark.
BTW: Borhani is the 3rd over 23 years player ( by only a few months)

True, we had problems with our coach, player selection, player availability ..etc, BUT, I can not ignore the fact that the Qatar team played a great game. they simply out played our players the whole game. they never stoped pressing us and they never used any of their old dirty tactics. They played fair and square.
they were good, we stunk.
side note:
does anyone have the list of players that went to Brazil with this coach last month? I wonder how many of the players who played in Asian Games were in that group.Comment
