    The Highly rated Iranian midfield

Well i am here to give you my concerns as you may call it or even positive attiutude..

Alrigt our midfield is a very very fine one indeed...so much talent..

We have legioneers playing their trade in Europe players such as Mahdavikia,Karimi who are big parts of their Europen clubs and are biiig stars..

Also Zandi who is based in europe but aint facing a good time right now..

Well also We Have a Incoming star Exeperienced Nekonam

Or You may also think about the incoming talent or the HOT HOT midfielders in IPL...

    Jabbari,Teymorian,Madanchi,Nouri,Zareh,Rajabzadeh, Manei

Yes these are the players i am talking about who are in really really great shape in the IPL..Jabbari and the others standing out in great fashion for their clubs...

also lets not forget Mobali..who i would like to call irans Quaresma..
Really what a superp talent..Wich under Branko i do not see any progress for him as Branko is blind when it comes to Mobali..

But he is a player that in his career will be very successful and will be a player to be begged to come back...

Or Navidkia..i mean he is a great player..superb talent and quality but with the current situation its hard to pick him..but its a bright move for him back to Sepahan..

Some of you might wonder why i do not put Kazemian in this list..
Thats because i do not see him as a midfielder but as a striker...

I see him to offensive minded for a midfielder and i belive as a striker he is a rare player..

And now if you see you would probably say pfft...Why in gods name are we considering players like

Zareh,Manei,Madanchi etc etc so on so on..

Let me tell you then this..they are fantastic..

Zareh is the key man in a lowly Malavan..even though will most probably leave the club for a better one he is very mature and talented..

Thats when it comes to the pick...

Midfielders for the World cup squad should be following if we really care about the best and only the best

    Karimi
    Kia
    Zandi
    Nekonam
Jabbari ( To good to leave out really)
    Teymorian
    Manei
    Madanchi
Rajabzadeh ( Experienced and good shape..Should be invited)
Mobali ( Should be invited when it comes to form..but will branko invite him)
Navidkia ( A DEFINITE Candidate if he performs for Sepahan and gets back to shape)

    Strikers are also another issue..
    where we have

Kazemian,Akbarpour,Oladi knocking on the door as superb candidates...

Or even Samereh who even though playing in UAE been on cracking form..

My personal 5 strikers would be...OK..Ali daei is 1 of them..But the other 4

    Daei
Hashemain ( Hopefully he will see a better half season in Bundesliga)
Akbarpour ( he have proven he is 1 talented kid)
Kazemain ( I belive not old but still showing mature perfomances and showing great talent)
Borhani ( Been playing good for Pas..this season have scored some cracking goals and really could showcase alot in 2006)

I would love to have Oladi but i see him as a successor of Hashemain or Oladi but not now..He has time...

Its now we need to pick the BEST and only the BEST

Watching the IPL really have shown me,,,

doesnt matter if you play in Bundesliga or French league...you can be 1 hell of a player,,

I am talking about the likes of Zandi, who at this moment is not any better then Manei,Madanchi etc to mention a few...

    Thanks for reading..

Hm, I do think Zandi is much better than Maniei or Madanchi (although they are different player types). Not playing regulary for Kaiserslautern doesn't make Zandi's qualities he developed thanks to great German youth work nor his talent vanish.

Zandi is an intelligent player, tactically well educated, one-touch footballer and very good shooter.

Madanchi is the typical headless Iranian player, who has speed and dribbling technique, but can not utilize it due to bad and slow decision making, sometimes horrible decision making and lacking technique in certain departments (shooting, crossing while sprinting, tackling, etc.).

So even if it's very popular these days to demand Iranian based players to play instead of benched big names, I am supporting Zandi's presence in TM.

Us Iranians CANNOT be pushovers , just because Zandi is Half German does not make him a better footballer then any of our IPL boys training on the streets of Tehran.

Zandi has not proved himself to me yet , and i think on the left we desperately need Mobali , also Nikbahkt is turning into a very good player and is also an option on the left.

I Don't see why TM plays someone without hardly watching them play based on the fact they are playing in Europe.

We need to have faith in TM , Iran and Iranians rather than praising half iranians playing in Europe.

Please Note :I am not bashing Zandi , in all fairness i think he has bags of potential but it just seems Mobali , Madanchi , Manei have much ,much more

How do you get to the conclusion TM staff is hardly watching Zandi? I bet they observe the players and analyze them 100 times as precise as you and I do. So how on earth do you come to the conclusion they are hardly watching the likes of Zandi? Please explain.

i was questioning whether i should have written that Martin-Reza , but i say that because i remember straight after he signed for the IFF he played the next game for TM , we can't be pushovers we have to let Zandi sweat it out before we even give him 10mins against Qatar. Do you understand what i'm trying to say?

          Cheers

Yes, it differes from hardly watching a player though, but that is a point. On the other hand he had proven himself over a long time in Bundesliga 1 and 2 (probably well observed by TM staff) at this time and if the coach is sure he's the best option for one position, I think he must play him, regardless of the impression that gives to other players. But you have a point of course.

I just meant we must be careful with conclusions like the hardly watching thing. Many people are accusing IFF and TM staff of things, just because they don't see it. They don't see TM staff scouting players, they don't see the databases of the Staff, they don't see the staff working their butts off to get friendlies etc. and immediately assume it is a fact they don't scout, they don't know anything about IPL players and they don't want to have friendlies.
