here is wat i saw from the 70th minute onwards just now in 20 mintues of the game:
77th minute, hashemian plays a 1-2 with enayati.
80th minute, hashemian wins a freekick among 3 defenders right outside the penalty area which mobali wastes from outside the box
88th minute, hahsemian makes a solo run on the side because he has noone to pass to.
89th minute, brilliant 1-2 with mobali and pass to enayati but he is in offside.
91st minute, he plays along the left line and dribbles past 3 chinese defenders who try to foul him but hashemian continues and a 4th defender takes his ball away from him. referee could have given freekick.
these are all examples which contradict ur claims by just watching 20 minutes of the game.
anywayz, like i said khabalood jan, i hope ghalenoi doesnt bench hashemian because to me, he is the main factor who keeps the forward line alive.
inshalla watever happens for the best of iran and we can win the trophy eventually.
In the 80th minute he receives a pass from Enayati. Enayati continues to make his run into open space. Hashemian decides to go it alone even though he has a defender right on him. Had he held the ball for another second and made a pass to Enayati, Enayati would have been in a very good position in the box to score. Also only one defender had interacted in that play with him.
88th minute Hashemian receives the ball on the right side. At first contact he has one player who he can pass back too and another on his right side whom he can make a through pass too. He decides to make a solo run towards the side (no surprise here, as he again is getting forced out of center.) His play results in the Chinese gaining possession.
89th minute, Hashemian makes a good pass to Mobali, since he was getting crowded out. It was a good decision. I wouldn't call it brilliant though.
91st minute, a ball is played to him. He fails to control the ball at contact. There are two defenders behind him and two facing him, quite a distance away. Enayati is clearly open for a pass on his left side. He decides to play the ball to his right down the side of the field. No surprises here as he once again moves out to the sides and away from the center. Worse yet he had to have known he was outnumbered prior to making his move. A simple pass to Enayati would have unleashed him right in the center of the box with a good chance at goal. Hashemians decisions means he know is out of position and battling against superior number. To his credit he evades his markers for a short period before losing the ball. Nothing came of this play, except Hashemian showing off. Only three Chinese defenders interacted with him in that play. You must have counted one of them twice.
Out of these five examples which you claim comprise twenty minutes of game time, four were wasted opportunities. These four support my claims of his poor decision making, non co-operative play and inability to get into the box/preference for side play.
As such I maintain my position. He should be benched, in favour of Kaebi, Mobali or any other player who has the qualities to compliment tm's cf Enayati. Perhaps a good old fashioned benching is just what is required to get Hashemian to improve his play. If not it will be a positive step towards finding a solution.
I agree with your opinion on winning the trophy, although I would add eventually meaning this yearThe REAL. The LEGEND. Since 2001.

I hardly saw a trapping which left the ball in front of the feet !
so many turn-overs were the result of poor trapping !
Hosseini was one of our players who did a fabulous job with his first touch. Thank God we have him at the back. The REAL. The LEGEND. Since 2001.

now if u wanna point out his wrong pass, please lets count the number of wrong passes by enayati and other TM players as well.

teams around the world can only dream of winning such freekicks in such situations. its not as easy as u say to hold the ball specially when ur in the center and u have defender(s) on u. also, his back was towards teh goal, it wouldnt be easy to pass to enayati who was moving into open space ahead.

i think again in this situation, he couldnt pass the ball to enayati.

he won an excellent freekick for iran only for mobali to hurriedly waste it.

i think he made a good decision, kia, kazemian, kaabi also all make runs on the sidelines eventhough sometimes they can pass.
i think one of the best 1-2s in the entire game besides the zandi mobali 1-2.
hashemian should have got that foul cos he lost the ball as soon as the referee gave him the advantage, atleast thats wat i feel.
i think again in this situation, he couldnt pass the ball to enayati.
these 5 examples show that hashemian is effective in winning freekicks in dangerous positions, has good ball control to single handedly move where there is no better choice, doesnt have any enemity with enayati and passes to him and plays good 1-2 passes which most of our players dont.
and yes, by eventually i meant not only this year but this month itself
As I noted previously he is simply not getting his job done. As a cf he is not causing the oppositions goal any trouble. As a ss he is not getting the ball to Enayati. He has various skills which he is using, but they result in him moving out of position or performing duties which are not consistent with his role on the field. The result is Hashemian is both hard working, and hardly working as a forward at the moment.
I think we are going to have to agree to disagree on this matter since I already have an idea of what your response will be, if you choose to respond. The REAL. The LEGEND. Since 2001.

He is unable to complete a 1-2 with Enayati, which would get us into the box. Thats okay as well. Makes runs suited to players with other roles on the team instead of building the attack through passes. That is fine. Makes a good pass and it suddenly becomes brilliant. Fails to control the ball and to make a simple pass, then decides to selfishly make a run, and you write it off in his favour. I can understand writing off one, or two mistakes, but Hashemian was consistently poor throughout the match. This is not the time to be turning blind eyes Yashar jaan, in fact it never is.

the reason i gave those examples was to show he has no problems with passing to enayati and support my point that he indeed does win freekicks and has good ball control.
i dont think he has been poorer than most of our other players who also have had poor passings, decision makings, etc.
but anywayz, like u said, lets agree to disagree.

Hashemian wasted at least 4 sure goal opportunities today against Malaysia. His play was poor. TM actually improved and actually scored a goal through play when he was taken off. Had he been on the bench from the beginning our score line would have been much higher than two. A wasted opportunity to get a message across to the poorest player on the pitch. The REAL. The LEGEND. Since 2001.

hashemian was very poor today, i agree with u khabalood. (this game, i still think other games he played effective).
it seems he has a lot of pressure mounting on himself to score that 1st goal.
i think he and kia sucked today, kia played an ok game but his crosses and corner kicks WERE MISERABLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.
so disappointed in both of them.
zandi too, his crosses and corners were all weak.
mobali nothing.
karimi improved a lot in the second half. unfortunately the lack of quality players next to him didnt allow him to shine enough. that brilliant passing combination was an examnple where karimi left the ball for khatibi but made a run and khatibi like an idiot as usual but his head down and just shot.
nekounam and karimi i was quite satisfied with, not out other legionnaires. rezai didnt have to do much.

I agree khabalood jan.
I think since GN has shown he's got balls, he shd have taken it a step further and started with rajabzadeh instead of VH.
VH is enjoying WAAAAYYY TOO MUCH leeway at TM ( after his outburst 2 years ago ).
I cant remember him NOT starting after he re-joined the team !
==========
yashar jan,
if karimi gets serious, he can make a good combo with neku.
and if GN brings in another mid like zandi ( if he's allowed to be a mid ....AS IT SHD BE ) , shojayi or sadeghi instead of ando, this combo would be an effective one.
