Simple Question: What will happen if we win the championship with GN az Head Coach?

Please think carefully...what will happen? Will it be useful for the future of our football? How about for WC 2010? Will he stay as a head coach until WC 2010 qualification games? Will another vatani coach take over? Will the new head of IFF dare to hire a foreign coach?

I do not want to be a party pooper...I just want to think beyond these games.

if he wins, i personally think he'll get a nice fat pay check
and i think he will stay until WCQ unless the TM starts playing really poor then they might replace him and i hope they'll with a irooni coach. i personally not big fan of foreign coach. not just for TM any other country that has a foreign coach, first i think the communication between players and him might be a little tough, second difference of culture might kinda lead into argument you never know. and third it kinda takes that pride away i think, that's just how i think.

i for sure will admit I was wrong about him, but as negative as this sounds, I can't see that happen, even tho I have faith in the players, I don't have faith in the coaching staff and the IFF.

as you age more mature logics are expected from you.
Win or loose our technical people and their assembly has not been any inferior to Branko et al, at least with komasi we have been much more fit as ateam, gn has been doing just fine...the factt hat they do not have blue eyes or their last name does not end in vich is the only disadvantage that you could come up with
IFF has been and is about the same so that variable has not changed...
gn has kept a good competition and hunger in a very depressed tm and fans after wc, he and his team have done just fine..

I had that same question when the current staff was selected.

It is very hard to just fire a coaching staff that has been successful.. of course that would be the case IF we win and ONLY in that case! .. if we fail then it will be the end of GN automatically. but if we do win the cup, it will be difficult to just fire him... but I guess I would love to face that difficulty.

we have to remember that answers to a lot of these questions will depend on who will be selected (elected) as Chief of IFF. I think our fate in the WC 2010 will greatly depend on who will lead IFF.

At this stage is unknown. Three major pieces of puzzle are missing. IFF election needs to be done and then GN's contract supposedly expries on July 30th I think final is July 29th right? Then comes Iran's performance in AFC cup.

I guess ZZ was basically leaning toward even removing GN if the team wins AFC cup. Which I have a hard time to think it will happen. Unless GN a fat offer from Chineese or UAE. If GN does well, maybe he will get jobs outside Iran who knows. There were some rumors that he got offers from UAE and China (of course not much details yet). Maybe he wouldn't want to stay after all.

We just need to wait. If GN wins the cup though, I think he deserves to stay on (assuming he wants).
"When I see the good in you, you get motivated, feel good about yourself and that creates synergy. It creates an environment where everybody can work better together. I think in the Iranian culture it becomes very ordinary to always see the bad in each other."
