well Denizli was IMO a good quality coach, who understood our mentality best. I dont know whether he would give himself a third thought to come to IPL clubs, who treated him not the way he deserved, again....
Adesor jan, my guess is he's waiting to get the call up for the TM.
That explains why he hasnt taken up any job so far and is holding out. If that happens, then I guess it'd be a major step up for TM compared to the past 6 yrs.
well he was always professional and classy,,,I don't remember any unprofessional statement against any other coach or team.
good luck to him and I'd like to see him back in Iran again some day.

Salute to anyone who stands against these barbaric, inhumane and irrational laws of ANY religion.
Estili talking to some players does not mean that he was doing something on purpose, maybe he did not know any better! I do not think Estili ever wanted Persepolis's demise. These are though the same issues that people who have spent their day and nite and have died in and out for the team have to deal with!
step aside because Danizli says that a shmuck like Nooredin should be the caoch and not estili! nothing wrong with that either but have to undertand ye dafe namadari miyarano bache yateem meeshe vo dige engar na engar!! The whole trouble is in our footballing culture...
As great Denizli was but he is now passe!
He has not had any major achievments in close to a decade now.
I know him from my Turkey days. Agreat politician and a great learner. he learbed almost everything from Derwal and then took over Galatasaray. He was and is an amnazing coach but hey
Azmoode ra azmoodan khaast...
Denizli dropped Paas in a champioship race and went to Turkey!! 3 weeks before end in a tite race for champinship, he was average at best in Persepolis
He is not that much cheaper than the likes of troussier, then why get hiom for TM?
Mark my words, but to the day that we do not train and develop vatani coaches Iran will not have any titles under any foreign coach...they simply do not care, and tm players by the time they get there are already spoiled and in a different zone!!

zeeremonan sheeshtayeea The only dynasty of iranian football. ( At least three back to back championships define dynasty, we had moreTeam of the people by the people for the people that fills up 100k stadium like its nothing.
Future of true professional football if any in Iran!
With all the respect to Agha Payman, Denizli is a classy showman much more than his coaching abilities at the high level football. CNN Turkish version probably saw the same thing (his showman ship) that offered him the job.
For those who haven't seen Denizli on TV I strongly suggest see his interview with Adel Ferdoosi Poor. I was just impressed how Denizli totally took Adel Ferdoosi Poor to school.

I do not think, denizeli , loseing PP job, had anything to do with Stili.....nor, can stili do anything to ghotbi, as he is too insignificant.......stili,is niether Parvin, nor Daei......that is why, this article ,payman jaan provided ,says as well..............
It is how ever, apparant, that Denizili, wants to come back to Iran....and I heard, Rah-Ahan was after him........may be, price is on thier way,and if Denizili, Gives discount ! ,he will be back in Iran.

Well, Bahram jaan, as you know there is no unemployment insurance for coaches in football. Can't blame the guy if he can make close to a million dollars a year and do what he loves to do. Amazing.

This guy thinks he is taraf with the koorha.
Anyway Payman jaan, sounds like your dream is closer to coming ture. Mustafa khan seems to be creeping and crawling ever more cleverly toward the head coaching position of the TM. Best of luck to him and TM if it becomes true.

He does sound a little arrogant........, and with all due respect to payman jaan..................I do not see the big deal !!!............so what ? to have a winning record with PAS ?......
He obviously is not that important with the turkish football, as mentioned by himself, a low class turkish club has offered him a job....
he is after all, a " Turk " !!!, and they are not shy,to say the least !
It is apparant, he does not think,he can get the kind of money he did from Iran, from anywhere els, unless, Iran...and he only wishes to go up,on the resume'.........................so, he would only coach TM, in Iran, and not interested in any club job...unless a year or two pass, and staying out of Job.
Turkish football has advanced so much, since he was some body in turky, and they hire likes of zico now,and have expensive, famouse european players, playing in thier clubs......and for them, denizeli is an old news.

The whole Turkey progressed after 1980 (with the injection of money from trade with Iran they found a new market for their products and also act as middle man between Iran and other countries) after the Iran's revelotion. It seems privatization in their football helped them somewhat as well. If we can follow their model maybe there is something to be learned.

as far as "class" or "opportunistic tendencies" and such things go, I couldnt care less.
just as I didnt hold GN's absolutely class-less and ill mannered behavior and disrespectful language against his coaching abilities, while he was the head coach.
just as branko's gentle words & demure personality didnt get us anywhere.
what I do care about is the man's abilities and capabilities.
there, we cant find much better than denizli with the didley-sh*t money IFF is ready to pay.
And ali jan, it is certainly not a DREAM of mine.
I have weighed the options based on present reality and have picked my choices ( denizli, macala, luka, ... ).
My dream would be someone like Lippi or Wenger or ... to take the job. but wouldnt I be "dreaming" then?
we know IFF wont pay much.
we also know of the tremendous shortages and lacks in our infrastructure and foundations of football in Iran.
we know many coach will NOT put up with such lacks.
we also know Iran is a sort of parriah state and not many want to have much to do with it.
we are aware of the difficulties any foreigner faces in dealing with our ppl and culture.
based on such factors, who better we can get?
Cappelo ?
Fergussen?
lippi?
This whole thing depends on who wins the iff.
as parvin said it out loud in response to a question put to him about the next head of iff...
his response...wont matter if he pays mega bucks to bring a big name to head coach Iran
Denizli is totally passe, he will just smile and tell every one that they are right and wont do jack..
plus what has he done int eh past ten years?
what has he done in Iran with two teams that paid him plenty!!?
