Fooladshahr Stadium, a real shame!

It is a shame for a team playing in the final of the Asian Club Championships having a home stadium like FooladShahr.

I was watching the game between Sepahan and Urawa Reds and thinking what the world (or even Asia) is thinking about state of stadiums in Iran.

Fooladshahr looked horrible. I saw people standing on the hills around the stadium to watch the game and as usual there was this huge fence around the field guarded by military police with guns! Real shame!

I seriously think, it is time for our professional teams to pay attention to establishing proper facilities and our Government/football federation to help should they want to take this professional league any further.

Or may be the answer is obvious. Our Government doesn't give a damn about football!!

These forign players who come to Iran,are all professional, and I do not think they mind too much ,how fancy a stedium is......how ever, the only thing they care about, and would know how back ward a country may be......is by thier Grass-field......" CHAMAN " of any stedium, can tell about that country, more than how big the stedium may be !!!!!!!!!!!!

Urawa's coach actually complained about the pitch condition and how he feared injury
to his players. It is an absolute disgrace. On the one hand Naghsheh Jahan has been
taking forever to complete, on the other anytime someone complains they say oh
Naghsheh Jahan is underway. What the f*ck are they doing with oil at $100?
It is really sad that the stadiums in Qatar/Bahrain .... are in great condition, except
they don't have fans, and for us with so many fans ..... sigh

Yes its a pretty bad stadium, but the only plus side of it is that at least Zob Ahan owns its own stadium.
