Future of true professional football if any in Iran!
Boy is it only our football that has Sultan (Parvin) General (GN), Cappello (Hejazi), Emperror (Ghotbi), jadooghar (Karimi), Shahreeya (Daie) and now Sardar (Gheeleech)?
All these impressive titles and we can't even get to the second round of WC or for god sake win AFC title since 1976? Pretty sad.

What is your best football related memory in Iran?
Iraj
We were playing against Persepolis in Takhte Jamshid tournament. Persepolis had just hired Parviz Ghelichkhani and despite his services we were able to beat them 3-0. Those days Donyaie Varzesh and Kayhan Varzeshi used to pick the best players for the week. Right after that game both papers chose me as the player who made a difference. That was my proudest moment in Iran.
Nader (IK)
Are you in touch with any of your old team-mates?
Iraj
Yes. I am real close tom Eski, Nazari and Kamal Khalilian (former Paas FC player).

Boy you guys (Maji and Amoo Sibil) are really good. Talk about backing up one's words. Thansk guys. Perspolis jaan, guess facts are there for everyone to see, seems like your memory wasn't right.

like I said sardar never played for persepolis.
that three nothing game with danaeifard at his best sardar was not on the pitch.
Sardar's last season was in oghab
last takhtejamsheed season was 77-78 ( unfinished)
Maijjan your first link has nothing to say about this.
your second link did not work
and your last link has no proof of that.
hajrahimipoor played on the same side in tm with sardar, never in persepolis
I may be wrong but , sardar never suited up for the reds, there were always rumors and one incident that he was signed up but he never stepped on the pitch in persepolis suit

To be honest me and another member on this site named princeofpersia1 edited that article based on the same sources Maij posted.

I had pictures of Parviz in Perspolis jersey in my collections of Donye Varzesh. That I am pretty certain of. Unfortunately my huge collection of that magazine & Kayhan varzeshi , dissapeard in thin air when I went To England for my studies , never to be seen again.
Remember , we are talking about 3 decades ago such a long time , you could be right in the sense that he did not play , although Iraj Danaeifard says clearly "Despite his services" which means he played , else what services he is referring to?
I have no doubt that Parviz Ghleechkhani joined Perspolis , now since you said that he did not play , I will dig further.
As for Rahimipour , ( I remember him very well , his photos were published in each edition of Donyae Varzesh !) he only played 2 official matches for Team Melli , and in both of these matches, Parviz was also playing. I doubt that he would make such a grand statement for two matches!
But , I still give you the benefit of the doubt and will dig further about Parviz actually playing for PP. BUT...HE joined Perspolis , without a shadow of doubt. the question remains whether he actually played.
