    btw mostafavi If I am not mistaken played for taj before he played for persepolis or maybe after he played for persepolis, anyone knows?

    To the best of my recollection only Ansarian and hasheminasab played for esteghla AFTER they played for Persepolis, can anyone here confirm or dispute that...

      I remmember the slogan, " Shishtaee javad e Allahverdieh ".which refered to him going from TAJ to perspolise !

        I know. I only know of 2 players that went from persepolis to taj, the rest of color changes were from taj/esteghlal to Persepolis. I am not sure about mostafavi tho...does anyone know any other red besides teh possible three mentioned moving fromthe reds to the blues?

          Babakhanloo lived near the area in Tehran where my parents are from. I think his brother was killed in the Iran-Iraq war and a street is named after him (former Khaje Nezame Molk). Bascially my dad and everyone in the neighborhood remembers him being very fast but not necessarily the fastest. Khordbin lived near by Babakhanloo as well and according to my dad Babakhanloo always picked on and beat up Khordbin.

            Pas was known as defensive,and high desiplin,because of , the nature of " POLICE",or sharbani...with Kazorani,Asghar sharafi,and hassan habbibi,and dinvarzaeh,etc.......how ever, the most defensive team was DARAYEE,which were very solid,and had 80% of thier games tied....the high technique team was HOMA,..the bank e meli, & rah Ahan,were what they used to call Gorbe siah,which refred to them Embarrising big name teams.........sanat naft was know as a team with high talents,and the source of new Stars......as niether TAJ nor perspolise created stars....this may be true today also..........

              I jogged the old brain and blew up the dust , but so far , I can't recall the traffic between PP to SS.
              Fonoonizadeh is another player , but I can't recall from which side he migrated.

                No memory of the golden seventies era is complete without mentioning and giving credit to perhaps the most informative TV and radio sport broadcaster in Iran History.

                Ustad Ata Behmanesh.... The walking encyclopedia of Football and wrestling in Iran. My inspiration..... A unique man and a living legend.

                      There were two other players before these guys you mentioned.

                      A few I remember where

                      Gholam Fathabadi who came from PP to Taj. He played center forward in both teams

                      Shahrookh Bayani who went from Taj to PP. He was an amazing player. Much better than his brother Shaheen Bayani who played right back for Taj. I played against both of these guys and both of them specially Shaheen was an amazing player. Back in 80s he ran about twice as much as any player in his era during the game. He had amazing stamina and played without the ball with his movement. He has very good burst of speed, but couldn't maintain the speed in the long range.

                      In more recent years, of course, Sayed Abasi, Nikbakht, Fatemi went from ESES to PP and we got Alizadeh and Ansarian from PP.

                              alijan there were plenty of players that have played on both teams but hasheminasab and ansarian were the only ones that I could recall leaving persepolis for the blues the other migrations I thought were teh other way around. Fathabadi came to persepolis I believe from esteghlal, not sure tho.. movinf
