    Ali Jan.

    While I agree with you completely that football has changed into a business and sport , ghyrat , sportsmanship and all these term have all been relegated to second best. The point that I want to add here is in defense of the players themselves.

    Ghyrat or let us substitute this into English to make it easier , LOYALTY , is a 2 way street. Both clubs and players have to have mutual loyalty and I am afraid it is not always the players who are to be blamed.

    Professional Clubs , nowadays , squeeze ever drop out of the player and when they see a sign of weakness or drop in form , they don't hesitate o dump them. Even players with seniority are not immune these days from such indiscretion.

    So , it is not always the players that lack loyalty , it is the circumstances that dictate such situations.

      Majid Jaan;

      I guess I didnt' explain myself well. My post didn't mean to suggest it is a fault of the players and fans. It is the system (which is comprised of the Clubs, players and fans). The whole system is going that way. So as you clearly mentioned and clarified it is teh whole system and I didnt' mean to imply it is only a oneway street.

      I remember at the begining of the reveloution many people in order to silence my leftist freind kept bringing up certain number of capitalists who were very good people. He desperately tried to explain that he is not against certain capitalist and he is sure that there are many good capitalists in the world who do charity and all. But the problem in his view at least (was the capitalist system taht is based on the profit (profit driven)). In that system there are workers and caplitalists and one can't blame one or the other, until that system is in place it is not fault of a capitalist who is trying to make more profit (since if he doesn't, he will go bankrupt by the competition).

      Not that we are talking about the same thing, and maybe this is a bad example ( I dont' want to discuss pros and cons of any social system here), but this was the best example came to my mind to explain my initial post. Commercialization of the football and football globalization is a system and club managers and players and fans are all part of this and it is not a one person's fault.
      "When I see the good in you, you get motivated, feel good about yourself and that creates synergy. It creates an environment where everybody can work better together. I think in the Iranian culture it becomes very ordinary to always see the bad in each other."

        Ali Jan... I did not intend to say that you are blaming the players. It was an attempt to bring another perspective to this situation.

        This forum , or at leat the other ones, is full of criticism for players that are "Bi Ghyrat" ...... I don't think those people pay attention to details or facts when one player transfers to another. I doubt that they even know the full story. I am saying that there are two sides to each story and players are not always the culprit.
