    In the news:
apparently IFF has secured 2 test games against Oman and Egypt for TM.
but have they thought about when they shd conduct them?
in relation to other scheduling nightmares the face now, with clubs' seasons and hazfi games and ACL games and TM's camp ?

    ok. 2 proposed games.
lets work backwards from the JUNE 2nd date and see when it'll be possible to fit these 2 games when they'll prove USEFUL to TM. not like those useless test games under EZ when they just gathered a bunch of players with a couple of day's training and said lets play ball !!!!

POINT 1 - considering oman and egypt are both strong opponents for a friendly, and the game will be stressful for the TM, they shd NOT be conducted anywhere within 4 days of the UAE game, which is another tough and stressful game. this gap allows for post-game recovery and rejuvenation of the team.

so the closest date would be May 28th.

    ------------

POINT 2- for that game to be useful, it shd be spaced by at least a week from the first test game. this space would provide for post-game recovery as well as a chance to re-evaluate the team strategies, work on wekanesses and strengths, work on line ups , .... etc.

this means the first test game can be conducted around 21st MAY and not later.

    ------------

POINT 3- but 21st of May is the day Saipa and sepahan have their ACL games !!
so what to do? leave out players like aghili, bengar, hosseini, sadeghi, gholamnejad, memarzadeh, .. and probably potential call ups like kazemi, haj-safi, mohamadi , zeneyedpoor, ... etc , from the FIRST PROPER TEST GAME TM GETS ?

with the major players of defense absent, what kind of coordination shd we expect now? what use of the game with absence of our main players ?

also, what would daei do ? attend the saipa's game or TM training ?

    ----------------

POINT 4- for these two test games to be of any use, we must first FORM A TEAM out of the individuals at the camp.
and that means to have a DECENT amount of time to work and play together. train together
and have enough time to understand and adopt the tactics and strategies of the staff.
I'd say, given our absolute IN-COORDINATION of the present TM, it needs MINIMUM a week of HARD and TOUGH strenuous training to have a semblance of a TEAM.

that's put the date of starting the trainings, at the LATEST, 14th of MAY.

    ----------------

POINT 5- for the players to be in some sort of shape and physical condition to be READY for the above-mentioned rough and strenuous training schedule and camp, they shd have at least 3-4 days of rest after their league and hazfi games.

that would make the date, at the LATEST POSSIBLE, around May 10th.

Now, I've been extremely generous and accommodating regarding the dates. coz we all know it will take MORE than a week to get our new faces, fresh flock at TM to understand each other, and learn to become a team.

    ------------------

POINT 6- this is when we conduct the league as we've been doing recently, which means a game every week.
coz if you ADD to the number of games per week ( as IFF is trying to do ) it means the players need even MORE DAYS to recover and be fit for TM's tough training.
.... that is if they dont sustain any injuries from the packed scheduling !!!!! which is highly possible.
    remember WC 06 ?

so in case of a packed schedule, I'd say the league games shd be over by MAY 7th , the LATEST. But since ACL games are on 7th, I guess both sepahan and saipa would like to finish before or after that date !!!
hence, the other clubs would not want to finish BEFORE these two finish.
so lets decide on a couple of days BEFORE May 7th.
lets say May 4th. coz any later than that, both sepahan and saipa will object as it'd be too close to their ACL games !

and that is little more than 3 weeks from now. with 6-7 league games and some hazfi games and a couple of ACL games ( May 7th & April 23rd ) !!!

    but my question is :
Can the league be over by May 4th ?

When we talk about lack of " Thinking heads " in our system....we are not talking about some slogans....it is a reality, and lack of programing , and shortsightedness, has and will cause catastophic damages.....
From , seting freindlies....to league schedualing.............from finding TM head coach....to IFF elections.....from stediums managements....to Long term plannings for football..etc,etc...........
We are doomed to pay the price !!, and we can not dance our way out, or come up with " NEW " idea, to remedy the deficiencies.....
The price, this time....is Not qualifing for the WC.

My God, here's more criminal planning by IFF.
they just released the packed schedule of IPL with games on:
        5th
        8th
        11th-12th
        14th-16th
        22nd
        25th
        28th
        of Ordibehesht, 87.

If this doesnt amount to torture, I dont know what does!

        - 5th - 8th has only 2 days in between

        - 8th - 11/12 has only 2/3 days in between

        - 11/12 - 14/16 has only 3-4 days in between

        - here, in the middle, saipa and sepahan have an ACL game, meaning only 2-3 days in between for these 2 teams !

        - 16 - 22nd (for the rest) has only 5 days in between
and saipa and sepahan will have maximum 2-3 days in between

        - 22 - 25th has only 2-3 days in between

        - 25th - 28th has only 2 days in between.

        - saipa and sepahan will have one more ACL game a few days after 28th !

now, do involve the impact of TRAVEL also, as many of these clubs will TRAVEL to play these games !!!!

this schedule will leave players half-dead in the end !!!
even in Europe you dont see such tight scheduling ... let alone in our poor league !!
what kind of players will TM take over? the LUCKY ones are the half-dead ones. the unlucky, those who get the probable injuries from playing so frequently, so many times in such a short span of time.

        absolutely catastrophic planning.
IFF has no guts to stand up to the clubs' pressure !
        bastards !

nobody asked the bastards just what kind of human being , after this amount opf physical torture, can come and then start attending national team camps with its own training,
and then have TWO tough friendlies set close to each other,
then go into 4 rapid-fire WCQ's ( travel involved. and the kind of travel that involved arabs hosting us and we know what that means !!! ) and then expect them to do well !!!!!!!!!

why doesnt IFF say NO to the clubs and take TM's side for a change ?

          A question to all :

given daei's preoccupation primarily with saipa's ACL games, and secondarily, saipa's IPL games, and the fact that after the kuwait game, the already loosely put together TM stopped EXISTING , I ask you all a simple question, alebit a hind-sight 20-20 one:

EXACTLY HOW DIFFERENT IT WOULD HAVE BEEN, HAD WE CHOSEN CLEMENTE AND ACCEPTED HIS "VISITING COACH" STATUS FOR TM?

I find it hard to see ANY difference except we'd have a far more experienced int'l coach sitting on our bench in the WCQ's !!
          Sad. isnt it ?

          =================================

after saba - saipa game, this is Daei's comments:

          well, no sh*t Sherlok !
wasnt it you who ACCEPTED the compact schedule ?
or didnt you think about these side effects of such a schedule when you actually welcomed the schedule?
so, right now, you have absolutely NO EXCUSE to complain about fatigue or schedule or .... .
you welcomed it and have forefeited any future luxury of complaints & excuses for losses, my friend.

.... or did you not "expect" such a thing to happen?

now, when TM is involved, I couldnt give a rat's arse about what the fak happens to saipa. But we see TM, also getting hit with such wholesale fatigue and possible injuries.
and that just pisses me off !

            IMOH, Payman jaan.....had we had Clemente , We would have beaten the Kuwait......;
            1-Better preparation.
            2-better judgement of kuwaities power.
            3-less distractions.
.............................The both goals against Kuwait were semi-accidental...but a offensive plan??I doubt it....,Granted,daei did not have much time, but Clemente would have used the time better.....
