Can our football be like our futsal ?

Congradulations top our futsal team with yet another asian championship....
the ninth.......as it is indeed amazing....and makes you wonder !!
After beating japan in semifinal...and convinsing win ,4-0, in the final against Thialand....with great plays , fair well of haydarian one the best players...
One may ask , why is that they are so good ?....
One thing that comes to mind is that, the bread and butter , and the foundation of youth talenst in Iran, is still " Street Football ", or " Gaolkoochik" !....and if one they, the fine grass fields were as much availeble to our youth as " Asphalt Streets "...that day, we will have huge improvement , and big name in WC as well.

    Great thread.
See one thing our Futsal is free of is: Hashiyeh.
I dont say Hashiyeh is the only reason for our problems in Football but the extent of the media exaggeration in football, all the hear says etc etc plays a big part of it.
Nonetheless, we should not close our eyes, our futsal is great for Asian level, at International Level we are very weak. Our only success was in 1992 when we got 4th, thereafter others developed, we stagnated...

At this point also from my side a big thank you to our Captain Heydari, who retieres from international futsal now.
He was one of the best, if not the best futsal player we ever had.

Even being ninth in the world in a very big deal....I remmember we lost to spain last year...but, all our games were close....
It seems the gap we have in the football with the greats does not exit when it comes to futsal....and the Ironic is that futsal is faster, and needs more stamina, which we are told Iranian football is weak at.

Our futsal is so great, because the amount of interference and media attention it receives is much lower comparatively to our TM. And for the same reason football will never be like the futsal program. But this isnt a bad thing in my opinion, for me I really hope our futsal and football are never alike. We need something to give us some respect in asia

Yes we can. (I'm sounding like Obama)...

Seriously though, Iran needs a structure free from arbitrary/political interference in football to succeed further. Our futsal is managed without too much interference.

Additionally, the IPL/PGL league needs to improve significantly in terms of professionalism. Our futsal league is one of the best in the world.
Right, as the world goes, is only in question between equals in power, while the strong do what they can and the weak suffer what they must.

Here's my thought: I think Iran Futsal has far less "haashieh". That's why the boys are psychologically a lot more comfortable, which shows in their games.
