I know this is there in the general forum. but I'm posting it here just in case someone ( human or anyone else from Iran) visits F+ too, to read it and act.
so making it sticky would be nice, fellas.
===================================
the compact nature of our last 3 games is very worrying.
add to this, the fact that we shd be traveling to east asia, play a game, then fly back to Iran ( wastes at least a day in journey ) and even not withstanding the jet lag , play another game in 3 day's time, then pack up again , waste at least another day in journey , to go back to east asia to face the south koreans in 5 day's time!!!!!
given how flight scheduling and IFF planning is, I'd say we would waste MORE THAN A DAY in traveling between Iran and each korea.
now, what does that leave us with?
half dead set of players !
god forbid if our qualification hinges on the last 2 games ( uae in tehran and s korea in korea )!!!
all the while, ksa & s korea, our closest rivals have a far easier schedule and travel plan! S korea has its final two games at home. while saudi travels only once with 6-7 days gap in between.
ala, in general forum suggested a very good switch which I find extremely do-able and wise.
we switch the hosting schedule with the north koreans.
which means instead of playing the OCT 15th in tehran, we play in N korea.
while we play the return game on June 6th in Iran.
that means neither N korea or Iran have to travel back & forth between east and west asia within a few days' time. it benefits both teams.
in fact Iran can sweeten the deal ( make them an offer the cant refuse )for the N Koreans by offering to host them between our game on June 6th until they want to go to saudi ( giving them access to all facilities, training grounds, hotel, transport, .... the works ) for their June 17th game.... which I think would be only 6-7 days since teams travel a few days earlier to acclimatize with the venue and weather.
that costs IFF next to nothing, compared to the hassles of TM travel, and what damage it might do to the team's fortunes.
and we also stay in Iran for two games ( N korea and uae ) , before we leave for S Korea for the final game in 6 day's time.
ala sent a letter to IFF personally
I suggest we do the same here as well. or try contacting IFF or anyone slose to TM or IFF, ASAP.
coz the more time we take to do this, the more possibility of a denial or refusal from AFC.
so making it sticky would be nice, fellas.
