Ok, it seems it really comes down to those three players. Interesting that only the most popular players are concerned. Unpopular players are seemingly not the victims of any hard feelings.

buddy, I dont know what's the purpose of using the word "popular", but let me tell you this "popularity" that you say is NOT becoz they look good, dance & do the "gher" well or play the "taar" fine.
( and here's the key issue that some of you repeatedly deny - no surprises there ) :
IT IS BECOZ THEY PLAY THEIR FOOTBALL WELL.
that's why they are "popular". hope it is understood.

It is becoz ppl recognize their superior skills to most of our players in Iran and becoz these players have something more to offer than the average hassan or gholi , a few of whom are at TM at the moment.

if a player is not as popular, you can take it from me that he is NOT as superior as the rest. hence not many ppl feel his absence at TM and therefore fewer ppl taking up his cause.
that's why you dont see many touting the absence of for example yahya, who is a very nice gentleman and down to earth fellow. so it's not about congeniality. it's about FOOTBALLING PERFORMANCE.

just though I'd clear things with the use of the term "popular", lest some elements try to mis-use this term later on in their posts

Kazem jan, I think the stories of the three are very different. I believe talking about each single case will be interesting as there will be hopefully no mixture of different issues. Let's see what comes out of it.

DD aziz, what you claim will be discussed for each single case. I hope we can do that without too much sarcasm and as precicely as possible.

I havent voted yet but if I would vote, I would choose Kia and I'm not even sure about him.

1-Ali Karimi: Simply not enough good shape in those occasion when Daei called up the squad. He was hardly training with any team. I wouldnt call him either (Believe me, I used to adore the guy myself). We have good replacement in Shojaee. Do you think that would be fair to bench the young, hungry Shojaee who is in excellent form and everybody praise him in Spain for Karimi without motivation, not in so good shape...No

2-Mahdavikia: In my eyes, not concistent, hardly plays in his clubteam. Cant remember when he had a good game corresponding his name in National Team. He's had too many injurees. Bazish begir nagir dare. There are possible replacement in Gholamnejad, Kaebi. At least they are young and hungry (Gholamnejad)

3-Rahmran Rezaei:Where the hell is he? Nobody even knows which club he's playing for. And he's getting old. We have good replacemant in Hosseini, Aghili, Bengar, Nosrati..

4-Kazemian: In my eyes, simply not TM Material. Even GN barely used him. I don't think any other coach will use him in TM. I mean, every single coach can't be wrong right?? Blazevic, Branko, GN, Daei, Ebrahimzadeh etc...

5-Mobali, same as Kazemian.

Regarding Kia, I still have my doubts and that could be possible due personal reason but WHY? I ask myself what has he done in that case?
