I mainly concentrated on the large contingent of TM players at saipa to get an idea of their form.
1- kaabi
as seen on countless occasions, kaabi's positioning in crosses coming from the opposite side are usually wrong and he either allows a lot of space behind him to be capitalized by the flank players, or he is left in a no-man's zone, not covering anyone !
This is something that needs to be worked on. He has to know whom he has to mark and where he shd be positioned.

2- Rahmati
the guy is one classy player.
I'm not saying this becoz he scored. But becoz he's been performing rather consistently for the past 3-4 years, I am aware of his last year at paas and the past 2 seasons at saipa.
at the moment, he is a far better option than either of ando or the sub-par sadeghi.
---------------
3- sadeghi
this is just a continuation of series of useless and utterly inferior displays by him.
I wish I had counted his turn-overs, coz they'd have reached double figures easily!
now, in a club, due to many restrictions in number of squad , I can understand the club coach having trouble replacing players.
but this fellow shd not be allowed anywhere within 10 kilometers of TM camps. It's a bloody CRIME to see him in the camp, deserving of prosecution by the law.
----------------
4- Hosseini
He did well on many occasions, especially in 2nd half when he was assigned to mark rivaldo.
but in the first half, his lack of speed allowed a lot of room for that chilean fellow.
=============================
a note on saipa:
their first goal was a classic case to be made for a team NEEDING width.
sharifinasab runs down the right side and ON THE RUN ( as opposed to many who stop. waste time for dribbling or changing foot or ... ), crosses the ball quick and low.
perfect execution.
and saipa did use these crosses far more and far better in the second half. the result is them exerting their authority in the last 45 minutes. testament to this is their countless dangerous opportunities.
they were just unlucky not to have scored on a couple of those.
they could have easily won the game.
moral of the story: ANY team needs width, if they want to get anything out of a game.
excellent game reading by littbarski for assigning hosseini to cover rivaldo whenever he got close to our 18.
this shd have been done in the first half too.
But I think the first half was WASTED becoz the team was in AWE of rivaldo and also didnt know much about that chilean chap who ran riot in our defense.
if saipa were more poised and composed from the first minute, I'm sure they wouldnt have conceded 2 goals that easily !
which brings me to the shameful matter of our tehrani fans, proving once again what a useless, brain-dead bunch of idiots they are ..... for chanting "rivaldo, rivaldo" in the second half, when it was saipa who needed support and encouragement !
inferiority complex to what extent ?
