I don't know man,,,this guy named Karimi is making a case to be in TM!!! or should I say, he has already made his case...I know he won't be invited this time probably, but let's come up with Daie's excuse to exclude him for the next set of games...assuming Karimi keeps up the form.

Yes.... I quite agree on Karimi is making a case to be in Team Melli , specially after Abomoslem game..

BUT..... Even if Daei invites Karimi , you and Dr. Doom will surely and definitely will find something else to finger Daei with

I agree with MR's choices of call ups ( general forum ) :
Karimi, Baroo, Shiri, ...

I'd like to add NAASEHI also.
he played very similar to nekounam's style and quality.
defended well and was tough. he also attacked well and was dangerous in his forward moves. ( and he gave no quarter to niki. almost got into a scuffle with him. lol )
perhaps a prospect for the future. certainly worth keeping an eye on.

Two players that have done very well in the league are Maysam Baeo and Mehdi Shiri. I have watched the latter more this season.

I just wonder if there is any place for them in TM Squad , knowing that the midfield is pretty full. The concern is that we lack height and aerial power in the forward line , although both Khalatbari and Rezaei can run havoc in the defenders , yet we need players with heading ability to capitalize on their runs and crosses. Right now I can only count 1 ( Nekounam) and he is not even a forward.

MY disspointment is that Ando is invited again!!!

سرمریی تیم فوتبال کشورمان علی کریمی کاپیتان تیم فوتبال پرسپولیس را به اردوی تیم ملی فوتبال ایران دعوت کرد.
به گزارش خبرنگار مهر، از سوی علی دایی سرمربی تیم ملی فوتبال ایران، علی کریمی کاپیتان پیشین تیم فوتبال کشورمان و فعلی تیم پرسپولیس برای دیدار با تیم فوتبال کره شمالی به اردوی آماده سازی ملی پوشان دعوت شد.

بر پایه این گزارش، سرمربی تیم ملی ایران به خاطر عملکرد قابل قبول این بازیکن در رقابت های لیگ برتر، وی را به اردوی آماده سازی تیم ملی فوتبال کشورمان دعوت کرد. همچنین پژمان نوری و مازیار زارع ، دیگر بازیکنان تیم فوتبال پرسپولیس به تیم ملی دعوت شده اند.

اردوی آماده سازی تیم ایران برای برگزار دومین دیدار این تیم در مرحله مقدماتی جام جهانی 2010 آفریقای جنوبی از عصر امروز در کردان کرج آغاز شده است.

همچنین علی دایی در فهرست اولیه خود که روز گذشته اعلام کرده بود، مهدی مهدوی کیا کاپیتان تیم ملی را هم پس از مدت ها به اردوی تیم ملی فراخواند.

دیدار تیم ملی فوتبال کشورمان برابر کره شمالی روز چهارشنبه بیست و چهارم مهرماه در ورزشگاه آزادی تهران برگزار می شود. شاگردان دایی در مسابقه نخست خود در چارچوب این رقابت ها در عربستان به نتیجه یک بر یک دست یافته اند.



that's well done...finally Daie shows some sign of putting personal issues aside and he took a big step towards that...nice job by Daei for inviting Karimi and well done to Karimi for showing that he wants to be the old Karimi, even if he is not totaly there yet.

so karimi, M zareh and Nouri are the only 3 players called up? what about baoo? although having shojaei and jabbari would mean baoo wouldnt stand a chance anyway.

- so afterall, ghotbi's unnecessary shuffle ended up costing poor shiri his probable spot! I feel bad for him.
that leaves only Nouri and S Zareh as LB probables.
whom would we see ?
the ever-flailing zareh again?

- and where will daei place karimi? midfield or forward?

- is M zareh's call up a kick ando's butt to wake up and get motivated ?
this could be a very good move by daei to force ando to get in shape and earn his place back.

Well that is a good news, hopefully it will remove a lot of side issues away from the TM. Boy this will put tremendous pressure on Karimi now, he gotta deliver in the TM. Amazing what scoring goals, confidence and seeing the coaching staff trust can do for a player who was in doldrums.

Karimi may be the most appropreate player to invite for the North Korea game.....his skills , are exactly the only thing north Koreans have not been ready for.....they have shown themseleves worthy defendant,but never have they seen some one like Karimi.

Zare was far from being impressive, not just today but ever since joining PP while Nouri is a regular drop-candidate and almost certainly won't make it into the final matchday roster which would leave us again without any alternative to Zare.

Good point.

Now that his heading ability has been proven(if it wasnt before,) we have more than one way we can attack N.K. if Daei decides to start Karimi at forward.

On the ground, where Karimi has made his name in the past 10 years, or now, aerially. Especially considering that N.K. usually has short defenders compared to our attackers and that is exactly the way we scored the lone goal on them last time we played them in Azadi via a Rahman Rezaei header.
