Member of the Month Nomination from F+

Please vote for the Member of the Month (MOM) nominee from Football plus forum. As some of you may have noticed there was a change in the MOM selection (see below for full details). As part of this F+ member need to choose one nominee among themselves. Please select one person, the top vote getter will be F+ nominee for the MOM who will compete against the nominees from staff and VIP forum for overall PFDC MOM.

Since only one person can be nominated from F+, you can only vote for one person.

Details of new MOM selection procedure (post earlier by Sherwin).

Blue print for MOM Award;
-VIPs nominate one member
-F+ members nominate a second member
-Staff nominate third one
(staff not eligible, F+ & Vip are eligible)
The 3 nominees will be announced in the football forum and members will pick the MOM.
Details;
Each group will create a "MOM committee". Approx every 6 months the members of committees will change. The Committee members will discuss nominees via pm and then they shall nominate 3 moms to their group (within 5 days of the beginning of the month) of which one is picked by the entire group (these polls shall stay open for 5 days only).
The nomination winners will then be included in the main MOM poll in the football forum, and that poll shall stay open for 7 days.
[Committees may consist of permanent members; it is up to each group to decide how to handle their own committees & the number of people in the committee which cannot be less than 3. Each member can be a member of one committee only (etiher staff, VIP or F+). The committee can’t nominate one of their own current members to the MOM award].

No they aren't. None of these people are being nominated for F+ membership. They are being nominated to compete in the Member of the Month award.
Member of Month (MOM) selection process changed. New process in summary works as below (it is explained in more details in Sherwin (Under Lahaf's post I included).

1- F+ nominate one MOM
2- Staff nominate another MOM
3- VIP forum nominate another MOM
4- Then the general forum folks I assume can vote to choose one of these three guys as MOM.

This poll is step 1 in the above list. Hope it clears.

In Zareh's case I may concede after a dozen of cigi's of weed, I may start seeing things in his favor and perhaps even see the benefit of his numerous turn-overs and bad markings. or at least may help in the denial of it all.
But no amount of weed would make that wimp, branko, look good to me!

F+ members should vote for some one from F+ forums, which they know about,how could we vote for members we do not know, such as above three ?
......F+ er votes among all members will be inconsiquential other wise,since regular forum ,members are too many.....
With this currant system, no one will ever be selected from F+ forums,who may be considered for different atributes than what regular forum members like !....and if they do, it will be because of thier participation in reqular football forum.

this is what I recommand the selection be like ;three major forums, talk about different issues,reletively,and they should candidate members based on different merrit.

1- Football forum nominates a candidate.
2-F+ nominates a candidates.
3-General forum nomiates a candidate.
.................................................. ......then, everbody in football forum will vote among the three candidates !!just as Payman assumed !

ps, I do not have the honor of knowing top three members !,( may be one of them alittle ), so I will not vote.

Not my place to comment, since I wasn't the one who put the selection/nomination process in place. But few points:

1. I guess PFDC managemet gave weighting to F+ member to choose one of the three candidates, to show it appreciates the judgement, maturity, experience of F+ forum members. F+ members went through a selection process, which supposedly proves a certian level of maturity, judgement, forsight. That is why, PFDC is interested to use this so called "judgement", maturity, forsight in the selection process, in order to improve the MOM selection process.
   
   
2. F+ members frequent main football forum a large percent of the times, so they can observe, the activity level, quality of the post, etc. of the posts in the football forum as well.
   
3. In spite of point 2 above, if you still dont' know the nominated candidates, I dont' think it is a proragetive to vote . I also encourage you or any F+ members to suggest potential candidates for the MOM , if they feel, there are certain members, who deserve it. F+ members you can simply open a thread and nominate him/her ( I am sure there will be no issue to add the proposed member to the MOM candidacy list that F+ will vote on.
   
4. I think PFDC's main focus is Iranian football, although General forum is very active, IMO, the MOM is someone who is the most active in the football related issues/forums.

Thank you very much Ali Jan for that detailed and exact explanation. Bahram Jan,
we had (the three of us elected officials ) some questions on who we can nominate as
well.
In fact the statement about us not visiting none-football forum frequently enough to
nominate objectively a candidate came up too.

Without getting too bugged down in procedure, my interpretation is we can nominate
members who are active and are contributing positively. Obviously there are many
PFDC participants who fit that.

But the main point is recognition by fellow PFDC members. I think since there needed
to be a structure Under_Lahaf proposed getting a football+ rotating group, which
makes sure a nominee comes out from + forum.

But by all means please make recommandation for next month I think even openly
would be better. If each nomination is qualified with a few words of why someone
thinks another member deserves recgonition that makes it even more meaningful.
