- Turkey example: You talk about tolerance by a big number of people, I talk about individuals. you and me. You tolarate and let the society follow you.
- Value: Have you heard about "valued brothers" or "baradaran arzeshi" slogan in Iran? It doesn't sound so favourite inside Iran. I found your post push the same senario with different value, I may be wrong.
- Your post was so passionate, I thought you are young. I didn't mean any offense and I didn't mean immaturity.
- I have to work on my psots to not have the impression of self absorbtion,out of touch,outsider mentality.
- As self medication, I should tolerate any kind of views. Yours included.

Majid jan, I am yet to call Governmental-Team, Team Melli. I have no hope for this governmental, overpaid and noncompetitive football. Imagine Liverpool and Chesea were making their fans that much mad, how much money they were losing? How much would their stock drop?

So, the whole football is fake. Put your beer into freezer for 17 minutes, then bring it our, open it, sip the extra cold beer and laugh at their entire stupid government from top to the bottom.

So , knowing all these facts about the absurd , amateurish and comical status of Iranian football that is quite often a source of depression and disgrace for any passionate fan , I wonder why is there this inner feeling that makes me switch channels to IRIB , or come back home early or even cancel appointments to see the boyz engage in their silly display of football ???

I think Sourian and Rezazadeh's act is way different than some one like Ghotbi. The first two believe what they did, the last one did just because of money, pure money.

Ghotbi is the digrace, Sourian is just "stupid".

A question Majid jan, are you supporting a team or beautiful football? I am the second one. I easily change my team based on the players, coaches, style of the game,...

Now, I am all the way for Liverpool, Arsenal, Barca and Real. Last year I couldn't decide between Barca and ManU. Last Worldcup I was for Portugal, this time, I am all Spain.

I just love soccer, I can't help myself. My passionate about football is much more than Iranian football which I still love (mmmm maybe like now).

Why do we have to understand thier situation ? and they not haveing to have to of ours ?.....
why , millions of youth, same age as Soorian, come out and risk thier life , for IRAN and us, ...and they , Soorian and Reza zadeh, get the benefit of the doubt ?.....
It is a similare argument I have with " Hajagha ",..as in any country, there is always forces of progress and forces of " Reaction "....even in USA, Democrats and Republican, have to fight it out..and millions voted for " Bush",and are now against " Social health care which has been a parodox in american society !!!...............
But, the major point is, unless, the forces of progress , do not come out, and show thier " will ", and show thier " Majority ", the forces of " Reaction ", ( ERTEJA ) ( Against progress ), would never find out what is a "true path " ,and will claim ,thier view as reality,and claim the country.

How could likes of " Soorian " understand, they can not sell people to authurities so cheap next time ?......and the answer is, we, the majority should let them know, while they are tolerated, they are no longer a faivorit of the land,let alone being heros !

haji jan, there are two possibilities here and either way you look at it, Soorian is guilty.

possibility 1 - He, as you said, truly believes in AN and truly thinks the movement is orchestrated by US/UK axis and neda was killed by foreign agents, and the torture in iranian prisons were done by foreign agents, and all the evidence proving tampering and doctoring the votes are mere tricks, and the 1000's & tens of 1000's of ppl voicing their dissent are "foreign agents" and .... basically whatever IRIB feeds the sheep in Iran.
here's he's guilty of ignorance and lack of intelligence, .... or in other words, guilty of being a sheep.

or

2- he knows all that which has happened and despite all this knowledge, still backs AN.
which makes him guilty of treachery, of being a disgraceful evil person with no conscience.


I'd like to slot him in the first group, perhaps not wanting to believe our sporting heroes could be that evil minded.




now, if we want to be very generous and kind to him we can say he could be guilty of being weak minded as well by not believing in anything these dirtbags are about, but having been FORCED by the gov't to make this gesture ... even if reluctantly.

as far as rezazadeh is concerned, he's been campaigning for AN way before the elections and that fits very well with the picture I have of him which is an uneducated, unexposed small town person who's gifted with the ability to lift heavy objects.
as a sportsman, I guess I would back him.
but as an Iranian, he's a huge let down to me and frankly I dont even consider him intelligent at all.

so rezazadeh's case is very different from soorian and other soorians. and certainly from a sell-out like ghotbi.
