شاید این موضوع اصلی ترین تفاوت ابراهیم زاده و قلعه نویی باشد. تیم امیر تنها بدون عماد رضا به یک تیم کاملاً معمولی تبدیل شده ولی ذوب آهن اجازه نمی دهد غیبت لیدر اصلی تیمش یعنی محمد صلصالی اصلاً به چشم آید. تصور همگان بر این بود که ذوب آهن در دیدار با بنیادکار از پاشنه آشیلی به نام عدم حضور صلصالی ضربه می خورد ولی ابراهیم زاده این مشکل را از یک خط جلوتر حل کرد و اصلاً اجازه نداد بنیادکار با گرفتن کمربند میانی تیمش، خط دفاعی که کاپیتانش را مصدوم می دید تحت فشار قرار دهد. قبل از بازی ذوب آهن مقابل بنیادکار به این فکر می کردم که عدم حضور صلصالی توجیه خوبی است که ابراهیم زاده می تواند در صورت نتیجه نگرفتن مقابل بنیادکار به آن اشاره کند، اما اصولاً ابراهیم زاده مرد توجیه نیست. او معتقد است باید در هر شرایطی نتیجه بگیرد. در صورتی که قلعه نویی بعد از بازی مقابل الشباب می گوید: آن روزی که می گفتم یک مهاجم دیگر می خواستیم تا در آسیا موفق باشیم، کسی گوش نکرد، یا بعد از شکست مقابل پاختاکور داوری را مورد خطاب قرار می دهد، در طرف مقابل ابراهیم زاده که با قرار گرفتن تیمش در گروه مرگ توجیه خوبی برای صعود نکردن داشت، در مصاحبه ای گفت: می خواهیم در گروه مرگ زندگی کنیم و از الان هدفمان جام باشگاههای جهان است و در عمل نشان می دهد واقعاً دنبال توجیه کردن نیست.

2) قلعه نویی اکنون هفته هاست تیمش در حسرت گذر کردن از تعداد 5، 6 پاس سالم و رو به جلو می سوزد اما تیم ابراهیم زاده چنان فوتبال شناوری را مقابل بنیادکار به نمایش می گذارد که اسکولاری در کنفرانس مطبوعاتی بعد از بازی آنها را با تیمهای لیگ برتر انگلیس مقایسه می کند.
3) تیم ابراهیم زاده می داند برای بردن باید گل برد را به ثمر برساند. دقیقه اش خیلی مهم نیست. از یک تا نود، فرصت هست و تیم ذوب آهن زهرش را در زمانی که فرصت خوبی پیش بیاید می پاشد، اما سپاهان قلعه نویی کافی است تا دقیقه 30، 40 گل نزند آن موقع می شود ورزشگاه را ترک کرد و مطئمن بود سپاهان تا دقیقه 90 هنر گلزنی ندارد. مشخص نبود اگر در دقیقه 1 دیدار سپاهان مقابل شاهین، ابراهیم توره برای تیمش گل نمی زد سرنوشت تک دیداری که سپاهان در هفته های اخیر پیروز شده به کجا کشیده می شد.
4) شاگردان ابراهیم زاده همگی در بهترین شرایط خود هستند و رشد کیفی آنها به وضوح مشخص است. از شهاب کردان گرفته تا خلعتبری همگی نسبت به فصول قبل رشدی شگفت انگیز داشته اند حال آنکه قلعه نویی اصلاً نمی تواند مدعی باشد ستارگانش را نسبت به فصل پیش ارتقا داده است. مهدی رحمتی همان مهدی رحمتی فصل پیش است، عقیلی هم تفاوتی نکرده و سید جلال و نویدکیا و سایرین هم همانهایی هستند که سابق نیز با 10 درصد پایین و بالا همین کیفیت را ارائه می دادند. متاسفانه باید گفت اتفاقاً در این مقطع فصل همه بازیکنان سپاهان در انجام کارهای تاکتیکی دچار افت شدیدی نیز شده اند که این مشکل بی شک انگشت اشاره به سوی سرمربی دارد، چرا که بازیکنان هیچ یک دچار افت بدنی و کیفیت فردی نشده اند.
5) پاپی، حاتمی و آرماندوسا تعویض های تکراری آقای سرمربی هستند که به خاطر نداریم در یک بازی جریان بازی را عوض کرده باشند، حال آنکه تعویض های ابراهیم زاده در هر مسابقه کاملاً هوشمندانه، جریان ساز و بر اساس اصول تعویض و احساس نیاز برای بالانس تیم صورت می گیرد. صالحی نژاد برای محکم تر کردن کمربند خط میانی، فرهادی برای حفظ قدرت تهاجمی و مسلمان برای استفاده از هوش و قدرت حفظ توپش به منظور کشتن حرفه ای زمان بازی.
6) ابراهیم زاده که هنوز جامی را فدا نکرده و با اینکه نیمکتی با مهره های سپاهان ندارد، توانش را برای موفقیت در سه جام به شکلی بسیار اصولی تقسیم کرده است. در طرف مقابل قلعه نویی و باشگاه سپاهان وقتی در مقابل صبا با انجام یکی دیگر از بازیهای ضعیف هفته های اخیر خود مغلوب می شوند، تلویحاً و به نوعی صراحتاً می گویند جام حذفی را خیلی جدی نگرفته بودیم، اصفهانی ها مطمئناً از این سپاهان بیش از تصاحب یک لیگ برتر تنها انتظار دارند.
7) سه گلی که ذوب آهن به بنیادکار زد با استفاده از سه تاکتیک مختلف بود. سانتر از جناحین، شوت از پشت محوطه جریمه و حرکت های در عمق خلعتبری، حال آنکه سپاهان و حاج صفی این روزها تبدیل شده اند به استقلال و علیزاده زمان قلعه نویی... از دقیقه یک اوت دستی، واقعاً مضحک و تاسف بار است.
8) برای ابراهیم زاده این مهم است که بازیکنی که در بهترین شرایط قرار دارد و انگیزه اش از جنگیدن او در تمرینات هویداست بازی کند، به همین دلیل بود که ایگور تا زمانی که به استاندارد خودش دست نیافت یک نیمکت نشین صرف بود، او این را به سایر بازیکنان هم تفهیم کرده باید برای بازی کردن باید نفر اول پست خود باشند، این در حالی است که در سپاهان توره، در هر شرایطی بازی می کند، حاج صفی از جایگاهش حتی در بدترین شرایط خودش مطئمن است و ...
9) تفاوت آخر هم به تفاوتی مربوط است که برای اصفهانی ها جماعت خیلی با اهمیت است. در بین بازیکنان و کادر فنی ذوب آهن لهجه اصفهانی به شکل غیرقابل اغماضی بر سپاهانی ها می چربد. ذوبی ها شاید به همین خاطر است که در یک روز بارانی ورزشگاهشان را مقابل بنیادکار پر می بینند. هواداران خفته این تیم بعد از نزدیک به یک دهه با تیمشان آشتی کرده اند و این روزها هوادارانی را در استادیوم فولادشهر می بینیم که شاید نزدیک به یک دهه بود به استادیوم نیامده بودند.
10) شاید اگر منصور به جای قلعه نویی بود می توانست به تیمش دیکته کند که هنوز هیچ چیز برای سپاهان تمام نشده، هنوز سه بازی دست نخورده باقی مانده که اگر به صورت مجزا به آنها نگاه شود پیروزی در آنها برای تیمی که اسکلت اصلی تیم ملی را در اختیار دارد، اتفاق غیرممکنی نخواهد بود، اما چنین خواسته ای از امیر بعید است چرا که تجربه نشان داده قلعه نویی معمولاً در اوایل بهار هنگ می کند.

There is nothing that irritates me in a coach as much as those poor and usually unfounded excuses for defeats. It is unfortunate that the Iranian coaches and Iranians in general have a rich culture in creative justifications. Ghalanoei is not much different than other Iranian coaches , Ebrahimzadeh has also his days of excuses ( despite the author's implying otherwise) however , the difference is that GN is outspoken and Gholdoer , while Ebrahimzadeh is normally quiet and calm....I said normally !!!

It is interesting to see the contrasting personalities and how they operate. Of course , the judgment should be left to the end. I have little doubt ( bar a miracle) that GN will win the League Championship for Sepahan....I seriously hope that Mansoor Khan Ebrahimzadeh does that on the Asian level....that would be a fantastic historical achievement.

well maybe its cuz GN might be playing a bit more cautious when playing in the
ACL. he needs to realize its a risk not to risk in these games.what i mean by
this is that he needs to play more attacking.the problem is that his attacking
line is suffering at the mo.

these 2 have score 17 and 14 , a total of 31 goals among themselves. I think they have bahman tahmasebi as their third forward, who hasnt scored a single goal i the league yet!
the rest of the goals have come from midfield and defense ( jamshidian, hajsafi and aghili)



so it's pretty apparent that sepahan depends on these two imports for its goals. therefore if these two dont perform, goals dry up for sepahan.

and that's what's happened here.

it is crystal clear that the roster is a faulty roster. definitely a deficient one for a team that is playing in 3 different leagues for the season. and shd have been built with a large squad in mind, allowing for injuries and loss of form in key posts.

Makes me wonder why and how QN can success in domestic league, while continuously failing in international level!? can't be the players, nor can be the club managements! bad luck? no way, how many times bad luck can keep re-occuring? it just doesn't add up, does it?

this is after sepahan's 2-0 win.

If I have to criticize GN in this game, I must say I was surprised not to see GN use width on the right against a compact, defensive team for almost 65 minutes!

first I though jaffarpour was suspended that's why GN was forced to play hosseini down the right, and obviously hosseini wasnt doing a good job at all on that flank. but when jaffarpour was subbed in, it was apparent GN never thought he'd need the right flank. and that is a negative mark against him.

but the pace and speed of sepahan was really impressive. it was easily beyond IPL and TM's slow, static speed.
and if sepahan didnt fare better in the 1st half, it was becoz both navidkia and kheiri were abysmal in dealing with the physical uzbek midfielders .
I'm afraid moharam is fast losing credibility with his dainty, soft performances.

sepahan would have scored more goals , especially in the 1st half if toure and emad were a bit less selfish and passed the ball better.

- both goals were scored becoz the ball was sent to the FAR post. a very good decision, since the uzbek keeper was collecting all the balls near his 6 yard box.
but what interests me is before the 2nd goal, and before the corner kick was taken, a sepahan player rushed to the kicker and told him something. I hope it was to suggest to send it to the far post. coz that would have been a very clever insight.



with this win, with another HOME game against alshabab, and an away one to uae, I think sepahan has a pretty good chance of advancing.
especially if pakhtakhor's points end up on par with sepahan, which puts sepahan ahead on goals scored.


so this 2-0 did a world of good for us.

Sepahan undoubtedly controlled the game. Yet this was overall a disappointing performance and pace was not really sth I could see in this game.

Sepahan deserved the points but will need to dramatically improve to play a good ACL campaign.

And I totally agree on the Hosseini issue. There might be games in which Hosseini, Bengar AND Aghili are useful together, but if you have such a defensive minded opponent and find Hosseini on the right wing all the time, you gotta realize you need more offensive power there and make a change.

Well, they won, so nothing to complain about. Result justifies all decisions. Let's see if Sepahan can finally fulfill the expectations. I really hope so.

you know very well that statement is not correct.
win or lose, a team ought to find its weaknesses and faults.

sepahan didnt have width on the right side till late in the game. and that allowed the opponents to rest easy bunching together in the middle. and GN only relied on the left flank's width!

and that's a shame coz both toure and jamshidian are good headers and obviously were under-used.

Regarding GN and his repeated justifications basedd on " Bad Luck "....
It is said : " Luck is the residue of design "
Sepahan's success is mostly because of GN's managerial skills,rather than his Football knowledge.....As Sepahan,with all the talenst it possessed,was bound to be on top three teams of the league any way,regardless of who the coach may be.....yet,GN does deserve the credit,for doing away with " Hashieh " and timely preparations......but not so much, " Design " !

I think he is more like those coaches that are realistic and trophy hunters.
both with esteghlal an sepahan last 2 seasons he has done exceptionally in the league, which he considers as a realistic chance of winning a trophy, which could be why he doesn't take ACL that seriously, becayse he knows the chances of a trophy in this competition is very slim. but he should realize doing well in ACL won't hurt his reputation because thats what all his critics point to, his lack of success internationally. Could it be his tactics or is he just unlucky?

btw I dont think losing on penalties against korea as a major failure, maybe because everyone wsa expecting us to win the whole thing and we had the fvaourites tag as well. but reality was the squad GN used was so old and outdated stars that had no chance.

i think so, GN is a great coach at IPL level but a big CHOCK in international level, i think it takes more to coach internationally than nationally
