I have been following this youngster closely whenever he's been involved in live broadcast. I must say that I'm really impressed and and enjoyed watching him playing. I'm mean he's currently the only forward in Iran with kind of European style. He's fast, physically strong , tall, pretty good individual skills and good finisher. And he's YOUNG. After Ali Daei, Hashemian and Azizi, I lost my faith and thought we never will find another forward not even close to any of these stars but when I started watching this guy it games me some hopes. I really hope that he will be coached and supervised in proper way. Shame that he couldn't join Perspolis, and that only because he could have been working with Daei and that could have helped him alot.

He is indeed our biggest and by far the most promising prospect currently in Iran. His physics, Techniques, Stamina, Vision, Accuracy, IQ, even his looks is very European style, as a matter of fact he sort of reminds me of Fernando Torres, I don't know this could be due the fact that he once mentioned on Navad that he's told that his playing style is sort of like Torres.
Hopefully he'll develop into a fully professional and opportunist striker, something we've been missing ever since Daei's prime time!

I cannot resist the temptation to mention how Daei was building a team melli by introducing young players and unknown faces such as Ansarifard, GR Rezaei and Ashjari (not so young but for a waek spot of the team) in only one year as the TM coach, and coaches like GN and Ghotbi chose/choose players just to get a decent result and extend their coaching reign to the next game.
I do not understand the benefit of starting old players like Ashoobi and Pejman Noori in a friendly and benching young talents like Zeneyedpourو Ali Asgar and Meydavoudi.2, 9, 10, 11 and 14

our best forwards are:
1.Ansarifard
2.gholami (i think thats what the stiker of steel azin is called)
3.farhad majidi
4.meydavoudi
5. Rezayi
6.maybe oladi
Majidi, used to play offensive midfield , but he has been used at the forward position recently, and he has grown into the position......
he seldom waists chances, and has become a good finisher.

unless you can prove you're a catholic priest. then, you're let go scot free!
but seriously, I think if invested and worked with properly, he could be the next RELIABLE & FIXED center forward for TM.
The rest of the names mentioned are not physically apt for the center forward position.
although I think after a few years, we'll have another talented center forward joining the ranks: kaveh rezaei. who's only 18 or so.
and I assume by 22-23 he'd reach his best form.
so the future's bright.
