Having said that, Mr. Daie played in Europe and knows that no TM (even Tim Bak Too's national team, these days don't pay for their uniforms. Even in this interview he doesn't talk about what was the compensation (if any).
It is no secret I am not a Mr. Daie's fan, but I always repsect him for the unselfish w work he did during the WC 1998 and 2002 Qualifications. He travelled millions of miles probably, risked his spot on the roster in his team, played with a broken/injured rib injury. I wish Daie of the recent years behaved more like Daie in that (1998-2002) era. During that era he was a true patriot that put Iran's national team and country above his own gains. I am afriad I can't say the same about Mr. Daie after 2005.
I know maybe I am asking too much from Mr. Daie. But I guess he himself raised the bar (my expectations) by what his examplery behavior during the 1998-2002.
