Martin put it very nicely and succinctly. Ghotbi got a good result with using three defensive minded midfielders in the game against Korea and for some reason, he played the same against Qatar. Who knows why?
Maybe he did'nt want to show his hands to Iraq and North Korea?
Maybe this is what we will see from Iran in Asian cup 2011 (conservative game plans).
Maybe he wanted to determine the other 4 starters (Rahmati, Aghili, Hosseini, Hajsafi, Nekoo, Shojaie, Ando seem to be fixed).

Many of the fans forget the football is being won or lost at the pitch and performance at the pitch relies a lot on the emotional state of the players.
With this super critical, high range of over expectation attitude toward TM, may god help TM players, Ghotbi.

"When I see the good in you, you get motivated, feel good about yourself and that creates synergy. It creates an environment where everybody can work better together. I think in the Iranian culture it becomes very ordinary to always see the bad in each other."
Afshin Ghotbi ( Former TM Head Coach)

Nasser Hejazi was the Takhti of our football.
