I guess we all have seen the latest list of candidates for TM.

Good calls:
1) Jamaati
2) Fakhrodini
3) O Ebrahimi
4) dejagah (if alijenab graces our little country!! or his mommy allows him! )
5) Gholami (nice to see this guy gets a second chance)
6) Nozhati

Not sure on:
1) Mansouri
2) taleblou
3) nosrati (except in his case, experience instead of form is the reason)
4) maziyar zareh (the guy is clearly out of form)
5) Gh Rezai (same as maziyar. But I guess CQ wants to cover all his bases with the FANS )

Ridiculous call ups:

1) shojaei (this guy hasnt even touched the ball in nearly a whole season! ridiculous call
2) Hadi nowroozi (when reza nowroozi is missing, calling this guy reeks of Iranian style selection ) nothing and I really mean NOTHING justifies this. NOTHING.

Missing:
1) Reza Nowroozi of foulad (he must have raped CQ's someone to be repeatedly ignored. anything less than a vicious rape can not explain CQ's dogmatic ommission of him)
2) Ebrahimi (of traktor)
3) Talebi of zob
4) Hosseini of Zob (he has consistently been the best goal scoring defender in the league and he is overlooked???)
5) Hamed Lak of Saba (why was he dropped without a single test? he was just called in CQ's last week's list. what's going on in CQ's head? is he suffering from some mental disease?)

Mind you, note those worthy players who've been overlooked (and their clubs) and those who are there without much justification (form or performance wise) and note THEIR clubs.
notice how even low performing and average players from popular clubs get a free ride and easy access to TM, while other top performers from lesser popular or famous clubs get snubbed?
someone wants to explain why?
can anyone deny, beyond the shadow of a doubt that factors outside the pitch are not involved in such selections??
anyone?

the only way I can somehow explain CQ's bordering-on-criminal neglect of reza nowroozi is that he actually calls him (picks Nowroozi), but CQ's idiot iranian assistant picks HADI (instead of REZA) and CQ, in the midst of 4 dozen players forgets this!
that's the most generous explanation I can come up with CQ's idiotic stance on Reza Nowroozi and Hadi Nowroozi

but on a serious note, such neglect and dogmatic exclusion of a player ... ANY player, will affect the player and his performances. most players lose confidence and motivation and they usually lose their peak eventually!
if for nothing else but to keep the competition alive in TM, CQ shd have exercised a little bit of logic and sense.
coz afterall, Reza Nowroozi is not just another run of the mill striker. he has broken the IPL record and is the last season's top scorer.

now, juxtaposing this with TM's goal drought among its strikers (our goals have come from defenders and mids only), one must be insanely idiotic to omit the league's top scorer for the likes of hadi nowroozi or gh. rezaei

***********

I'm really starting to wonder about CQ's eye sight (and I'm being extremely generous and polite here). First of all his selection and choices point to an assumption that he may have vision problems for missing on a whole set of players and missing the f**k ups of those he's picked (that is IF he actually has bothered to watch the games. big debate on this)

secondly, he seems to have been either blind or sleeping in qatar to recognize we dropped 2 precious points in qatar ONLY becoz of our choices of strkers and how they let us down by missing 4-5 great chances. and still, he picks the same set of players (some justified like ansarifard, some not so) and still misses on other alternatives.

and to make things even more dramatic, he goes and picks HADI nowroozi AGAIN!!!
hahaha.

would love to see ppl explain some of the 45 names' selections.

^ I haven't yet bought into corruption/ulterior-motive insinuation theories thrown @ CQ yet..!
Until he struggle to attain reasonably well results & until he comes close to put our WCQualifying campaign in danger, I will assume that he knows more than me & rest of us here, & trust his overall judgment in player selection..!
I think it's too early & not very constructive for us fans to scream corruption, idiocity, blindness or whatever..!
Reza Noruzi's exclusion certainly is controversial, but it certainly ain't far fetched to think it may very well be Football related..!
Some players, no matter how talented or how well they perform elsewhere, fail to fit in another coach's tactics or fail to adhear to coach's instruction & demanded, set, preplanned movements on the pitch..! Hence get shone away when they are deemed in-adaptable..! Above is my best guess as to what's happening with Reza..! Other wild guesses would be a possible attitude or off the pitch manerism which may have turned CQ against him..!???
The Center Striker in CQ's prefered 433, more than just a pure finisher, must be one who is a technically sound, able to operate in small spaces, can hold the ball up & combine well with Wingers who are supposed to also greatly burden in the scoring responsibilities..! A more instinctive CF, like Reza..!??, whom as soon as he gets the ball looks to get a shot off, won't suit the sort of a Attacking (barfelona style 433...!) which CQ seems to be going for, based on my observations..!???
For some reasons he rates & seems to be favoring hadi Noruzi as an attacking winger..!? Thats why he keeps inviting him, even though as weak as he may be or the fact that he just recovering from an injury also..! My best guess for that is that although he sucks generally, he must be taking directions well..!?
Anyways, I think it's fair to say amongst 45 on call players, we certainly have 23, or 11-18 of our overall best available players @ our disposal & should cut CQ some slacks on a handful of possible controversial pickings..!

Reza Nowroozi's track record at TM:

under ghotbi, he was allowed to play a short period in ONE match (3-0 group game) where he was the one who assisted our third goal with a great through pass from the middle of the park. He also put himself in a free scoring position, but afshin/ansarifard failed to pass to him.

then he was called for the Austria camp's 3 test games where he played in TWO of them, resulting in one assist and one goal.

so in TM, he has had one official game (one assist) and two test games (an assist and a goal).

mind explaining how this is a bad track record?
or how hadi nowroozi or gh rezaei whose TOTAL goals scored in this season PLUS last season still does not equal reza's one season's tally, are still called and get starting line up duty?

as for "taktik paziri" and adaptability, lets not forget he plays for jalali who is known as a tactician (even if he never gets his dues from iranian media and public and is always under-used in small clubs. the one time he was given a big club was in PASS when he actually WON THE BLOODY LEAGUE. and then won the hazfi with saba, immediately after that).
so I assure you Reza N. is pretty adaptable and "taktik pazir". ..... well beyond those players who just run up and down with head down and basically tire themselves with little benefit to the team

edit:

and the thing is in TM, it is the forward line that has been under-performing.
more specifically, the center forwards who havent scored goals.
and it is not as if the team havent created opportunities for them to score. it is their inability to convert those chances.
which directly reflects on the choice of players chosen for this position(s)

so the coach ought to recognize where we lag and has to correct that zone.

it's like having a car with a punctured tyre, but the mechanic tries to change the fuel pump!!!
even if the mechanic used to be Schummy's pit crew leader

Even if your are in the elite NCIS or CSI:NY , you would dream of catching the likes of CQ red-handed on all those misdemeanor or crimes you have mentioned.

IN fact you are straying miles away from the subject, unintentionally or by purpose.

... and to correct majid jan, now, in the 45 man list, pp (league's 15th ranked team that is well known and professed by one and all to play sub-par & low quality football) has 11 men in the list (about a quarter of the WHOLE list) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

while league toppers who, everyone admits plays better football, ie; ss, have 8 !

nothing in this selection makes sense

.... unless we allow for "politics and appeasement" factors

YOU ASSUME !!!???

It is a fact that when it comes to football, he knows better than the rest of us, this is a no brainier. That is why he is sitting on the bench of TM while me and you are arguing on our laptops.

I guess I don't need to mention the following, because it is obvious, but I will.

Being a person who is technically good at his job, does not necessarily means that the person is clean , ethical, honest , candid , or straight. We have not seen much of CQ to decide on his morality, but questions and eyebrows are raised on some of his actions and a pattern seems to be evolving.

I definitely think that he is influenced to select 9 players (nearly a whole team) from Perspolis due to pressure AND because PP is doing so badly , hence ease the pressure and silence the millions of unsuspecting Perspolis fans.

For God sake …even a fool and retard of a fifth division team coach will not do what CQ has done , and enough of this crap about him knowing better than us. ….Yes , he is also a better politician , he needs to be , because for him the stakes are millions of bucks , for me and you it is matter of pride and emotions only.

Now, on the technical side , the jury is still out but frankly , beating the mighty Maldives and Madagascar 1-0 and tying Qatar , is not exactly earth shattering. But , we shall wait and hope for the best.
Is he Majid or his account being hacked?

Agha Majid gol, what happened to Barca that you are so angry? baba bikhial jigar, we talked about all these issues hundreds of times and we came to some conlusion that:

THERE IS NO SUPER STAR IN CURRENT IRANIAN FOOTBALL. So, it really doesn't matter who goes to the field as we won't miss any one off.

The highlight of our current football is our coach. So, let him have his day. It's not like if he does every thing by book, or he resign and send the payment back, or any other scenarios, we will be better.

Who cares who's the top 40 or the top 400 in that matter? We all know who's going to be the 11 starters with 90% accuracy. We have seen it in the last 3 coaches.

Maybe the guy had a good intention and tried to boost the moral of PP players. Maybe he wanted to bring more PP fans to the stadium, maybe he just like the name Perspolise, who cares (again)? We are not getting any better over night.

To me, it's like we paid a pricey entertainer for a night, let's enjoy the moment, we all know tomorrow morning she (in this scenario he ) won't be here.... and we will be still wealthy with 6 millions less. Let's imagine we lost 3 billions and 6 millions to that risho-shipisho.

Chill jigar, check Fabrigas that he does wonder.

Cheers,

Sorry , Reza Jan. Of course you are right , but I couldn't resist a last stab at this ...

I am even more pissed off after watching the Basketball boyz lose against Jordan due to simple elementary errors in the last moments of the match plus the usual complacency....!!!

Now ...back to Barca....OOohhhh...they had a close call, didn't they?

All this is not so good for the health

Good post in favor of Reza Doc..! But riddle me this then why is it that the guy is one of the 1st group of tm selectees Of CQ & spends a whole week or so training plus 2-3 test matches ( where supposedly performs admirably..!? Well @ least statistically..!) under CQ & then gets dropped like a sack of potatoes..!? He even fails to make a huge list of 45 on call players ahead of even still injured & out of action Shojaee & probably a dozen other non-perspolisis..! I highly doubt he was looked over , in favor of adding another PP player..! Afterall there were many other less popular (none-PP) players who coulda also been sacrificed without any controversy, in order to include Reza..!
Like I said for some odd reason CQ just doesn't rate the kid or just doesnt want him in his TM..! It's highly doubtful that he is looked over in favor of adding more call up players from PP ..!
The high number of call-ups from PP is not a huge surprise to me..! Afterall as far as stature & popularity this club is about as big as they come in IPL..! Hardly ever, do they sign up a scrub, no name player ,..! Not just this year..!
Most always their squad is made up of some of the most promising up & commers & many already established Iranian football stars..! Their current run of bad results are more managerial & situational than suggestive of their squad quality..!
Well, let's wait for the final 23 list & perhaps then we could scrutinize CQ's selection better & may be then we could see something so shocking to suggest corruption or such..!?

Without knowing details of his contract and agreement is hard to determined what is his exact obligations to youth Programs.
Although he has distanced himself from IFF's original claims but he was the one who interviewed Omid coaches and decided on Mansoorian.
Akbar Mohammadi U20 caretaker coach claims he had baking of Kafashian and has been reporting to Queiroz.
Today Turabian said Queiroz will decide on U20 coach after his vacation.
I think U23 & U20 need much qualify and independent coaches than Mansoorian and Mohammadi and there is no reason why U20 has no head coach now.
If Queiroz is responsible for that he has failed so far.
Same failed policy.
Queiroz decision of Omid:
1- Appoint Mansourian as head coach , Markar Assistant.
After disaster of Omid and delay of 7 months
2- Appoint Markar as a head coach ( Markar selected his own Assist)

After IFF election !*!
3- Appoint Mansourian as Head coach, demote Markar as Assistant
After objection of Markar
4- Markar moved back to TM. Mansourian to appoint his assist.

-----------
!*!
Under IFF rules, TM coach has one vote in IFF election. Since Queiroz is none Iranian, vote should have gone to either Clubs federation or Referee federation. IFF (Nabi) decided Since Queiroz can not vote that right fall back to Omid coach Mansourian !. He voted openly to Kafashian.
During 90 Show Kfasian said he and Nabi has nothing to do with reappointment of Mansourian.
Omid need independent qualified coach preferably foreign coach. If must be Iranian , Faraki (Naft), Veisi (Saba) has much better track record than Mansourian. Since his dismissal from Pase Hamadan (His close friend Oliaei), he has not coach any clubs except IFF appointment as coach of Omid and TM.

I know some of us close our eyes and blindly follow and swallow whatever that comes out of TM camp (they'd even defend inviting sheyss to TM too, I'm quite sure). but this is for those others who use their own eyes and brains:

as if neglecting rahman ahmadi and insisting with the faltering rahmati in the starting line up was not enough, he goes and makes an even bigger foolish decision!!!
anyone of you can explain why zareh is invited to TM?
especially when we DO have far greater, more energetic, dynamic, and younger players like Omid Ebrahimi or Mosalman?

any idiot who fell for CQ's hypocrisy of "youth development" and "injection of fresh blood" into TM shd feel rudely awakened and surprised to see this too.
so guys like the two kids above or sadeghiyan or rahmani or ... digeh vel maataland !!!

I guess appeasing popular clubs' fans ranks much higher to CQ than the actual fate of TM and its quality!
but hell, even the pp fans dont want zareh in TM!

Maybe he wanted an actual DM instead of a playmaker, of which he already has enough in the squad, and therefore didn't need Mosalman.

And maybe he was as unimpressed by Ebrahimi as myself and went for an experienced player who is tall and strong, attributes Ebrahimi certainly doesn't have to offer.

Maybe he simply can judge football related issues better than a dentist from Texas, but I guess that final explanation is a bit unbelievable.

2-
And maybe he was as unimpressed by Ebrahimi as myself and went for an experienced player who is tall and strong, attributes Ebrahimi certainly doesn't have to offer.

3-
Maybe he simply can judge football related issues better than a dentist from Texas, but I guess that final explanation is a bit unbelievable.

lol. de nashod digeh.
if you're going to behave as if you havent watched a game of football or pretend as if you havent seen zareh play, or pretend as if you dont know what his roles and duties are (which I will not fall for anyway), then let me know so I wouldnt waste my time.
but if your answer is no to all the 3 above suppositions, then read on.

1-
the player in question is EBRAHIMI (mosalman, sadeghiyan, rahmani, ... are others mentioned for their youth potential and issues like rejuvenation of TM, .... )

2-
if the above 3 suppositions are not correct about you, then you'd know zareh's height has never come into play in anything.
he doesnt go into the opponents' box to receive freekicks or corners. he usually stays outside, waiting for the rebound ball to kick (under, ... to hurt the stadium clock's feelings, I assume)

neither does his height come into play in his post as it's right in the middle and balls are just passing over his head all the time anyway!

experience? if you mean the number written in front of his name on a piece of sheet, then ok. but if "experience" shd mean better performance or better judgement or better temprament, then you've got a lot of explaining to do

so while you get NOTHING out of YOUR factors you brought up, with Ebrahimi you get superior fighting abilities, superior stamina, superior intelligence, superior running and tackling, and much longer period of use (due to his young age).
you also get validation for CQ's "slogan" too. another plus.

3- dentist from texas?
lol. no comments on this.

The frustrating point is you are not even trying to find explanations for coaching decisions you don't like. The only one is the coach is making a mistake. At least give it a try, no need to buy a Zare jersey.

Come on, as intelligent human being, you must be able to put yourself into someone else's position trying to understand him, even if he thinks differently.

Even though I'd never call up Zare, I can at least come up with several points why someone else would, you can't even name one, that's somewhat unbelievable.
