Except I am not talking about specific team or a period, I was referring to the general fabric of this nation.

Yes , you are right that currently we do not have a top class team and it is quite evident. But , will that remain for ever?

Hope not, or I will come back from retirement to save the nation.

I don’t know why Agha Bahram is so distrustful about Iran's football and has this doomsday scenario!

I certainly do not think Iran's football has a terminal disease that has no cure. This is just a myth, perhaps brought on by the lack of significant success and glory. Sure, there are multiple of problems hindering the potential of Iran’s football, and many of it is in fact , man management problem. The Persian race is a talented lot and has defied logic and nature time and again to produce and excel.

Look at yourself for God sake. Look at what you are achieving in a foreign land. Look at Reza , Peyman , Kamran , Soheil and the list is long. We are talking about people who have excelled in difficult environments and sometimes even harsh and bias atmosphere. I have thousands of stories to tell that will probably take a lifetime to finish about the endurance, the skills, the determination, the difficulties and the will to succeed inside and outside Iran.

If we think we are handicapped or doomed, then we are definitely going nowhere. If we have the will to success and prepare to work for it, then if we do not reach the top, we will be close to it and that is an accomplishment.

It is all an exercise of mental and positive mind control. Without positive vibes, it is difficult to start.

I know enough about Iran and its football to say that Iran can go even higher than Korea and Japan put together. Before that, there is some serious housekeeping to be done. I don’t think that the Japanese or the Koreans are better natural players than the Iranians either. I don’t think that the passion that exists for football in Iran can be equaled or even compared to those two countries, there is a huge gap there for a starter.

The Iranian football has a " disease "......and getting rid of such disease takes a long time........and untill then , we would have no luck.

What disease ?

1- Foundementaly based on wrong and distructive system of Governement propaganda ( such as league players are paid more than European teams woud pay,...on government subsedies..irrelevent and not performance level ).

2- Anti proffessionalism system,that is based on " Non-accountebility ",under table , non-qualified managerial system,non resposive to people / player wishes, agendas that are not related to football,mafia, etc,etc.

3-Lack of inffesturcture,lack long term vision, lack of football pepole at helm,lack of intelegence at work.

The positives , you have mentioned, comes from Iranian nature,and excellent " Street football " harritage.......but no improvement after "Streets" !
....
The destructive forces are so strong,and so important for forces of "reaction ",and so improtant for survival of a regim.....that " Good will " of a nation is overwhelmed....from this stage of football, till the next stage ( korea & Japan stage )........only better system is required, as the stage of "talent base only fighting destrctive forces "...has taken us only so far.
more over....if the system changes, ...the situation will not automaticaly and immidiatly improve....as the labotory of this system has created generation that is waisted ...a system who asks for lot of money,but delivers little,and refuses to be proffessional.............a spoiled kid ...that requires to much effort to be changed and takes too long to matter.......so the whole generation must be disgarded !
a new generation under a new system is needed,with no disease !


Why kafashian,who has no back ground in football is the head of IFF ?
Why Kafashian is so submissive and looks above himself to get orders and not bellow to people ?
Why players do not play proffesional ?
why players act like a spoiled rat ?
Why is so hard for forign coaches to work in IRAN ?
why there is so much Hashieh ?
why kafashian did not resign after Olympic disqualification ?
why no one knows whose fault was it ?
Why so much talents get waisted before florishing ?
why majidi , Navidkia,etc,etc..refused to play for TM ?
why while the broken down economy and 35% unemployment,gives players more than any country ( including Europe ,based on talent level ) ?
why perspolise and Esteghlal get more money ?
why fattollahzadeh spends like there is no tommorow ?

I am not disputing the fact that there are many problems in Iran's football , many of that you have already mentioned. My emphasis and focus is on some different aspect and approach.

The situation is like that:
We see a ship in distress and in danger of sinking, what do we do about it?
Come up with reasons that makes it difficult to go to the rescue citing that the sea is choppy , we do not have enough lifeboats ,it takes a long time to reach them .... or
Make every effort possible to rescue the occupants , knowing of the difficulties facing the rescue operations?

Professionally and socially , I cannot accept defeat or setbacks. If I have an interst in something , I certainly will not let it go into oblivion or disarray. There is where I am coming from. I DO NOT GIVE UP , especially when the situation is very much remediable .

But , it will takes time ? ...sure it deos , even if it takes a life time. If it would not bear fruits for me , I hope my Children and Grandchildren eats the fruits of the seeds that we have planted.

Six month ago....the Iranian Government, after a year of negotiations with Russia..succeeded to bring a pair of Cyberian Tigers.....based on a 10 year research that had found Cyberian Tigers to be genetical closest to " Babr e Mazanderan ", that were extint ..as the endangered species, were last existed in IRAN ( Mazanderan ) in 1930s......
The Government of Russia agreed to exchange the Tigers with a pair of Iranian panthers.........and the historical exchange was reported through out the world....
The Tigers were supposed to have been placed in a similar,already studied habbitat, in North east Iranian forests.......and were supposed to be closely monitored with electronic devices...

last month, There came a news, that Tigers were never taken to Mazanderan..and both Died In Tehran's Zoo, because of breathing problems in Tehran's Polutions.

As I said in my previouse post.....The Good will, and natural talents,and collective intelegence of " Forces of progress, are hugely overwhelemed , by Distructive , reactionary,Uniquely stupid poletical system....

progress in general is in contrast to the nature of the system....and there is no out come but distruction, or total change of the system.
. The " Ship " you were reffering to.......has been taken to those waters , so, no one would look to the land.....
The system...prides itself and wishes to be different......so there would not be a point of compareson.
