Barcelona f.c. defeats Madrid Zoo f.c.

Spanish Supercopa 2011. Football, the beautiful game, triumphs over ugly animalistic circus called Real Madrid. That game was more like a match between 11 skillful football players committed to the beautiful game versus 11 ugly, rabid dogs, led by one of the most disgraceful coaches in the world, hell bent on reminding the world why they dont have the respect of the true football aficionados.

If there was any doubt remaining in the mind of some people who were either in denial or suffering from extreme bias, Mourinho’s disgraceful behavior, twisting the ears (or did he poke the eye?) of Barca’s assistant coach, Vilanova, in hope of provoking even more reaction and controversy should have been proof enough as to who the instigator behind Real Madrid’s shameful displays ever since this pitiful man took over as coach. It is no wonder his team continues to fail in terms of sportsmanship and discipline, if their coach is anything to go by. The Spanish F.A. ought to consider if such things go unchecked, there could come a time when Pepe or Marcelo or a host of other Madrid players may take things too far with a rash tackle and end up depriving the world of football of the likes of Messi or Xavi or Iniesta.

He single-handedly gives a whole new meaning to the phrase ‘sore loser’. And if the Spanish League authorities have an inkling of fondness for the game of football, ought to take a very serious look at Mourinho’s antics and especially violent players with track record like Marcello, Pepe and a few others in the Madrid side. Otherwise, Mourinho and his Madrid team will cause untold damage to the game of football as well as the Spanish football as a whole.

It is a shame to see this happen since the Madrid side, jam-packed with highly skillful players IS capable of playing attractive football without such horrible antics.

However let us not get distracted by the ugly display and miss the positive side of the game too. Real Madrid came into the match full of energy and hope that their strategy of high pressing and full intensity frontal attack on Barca’s back-line would bear fruit as it did in the first leg. This is testament to the ability of its players who can put the best club in the world under such intense pressure (which begs the question why should they resort to unsportsmanship and violent behavior). But Barcelona once again proved why they are hailed as arguably the best football side in the history of football, by shrugging off the initial pressure and settling into their game and scoring some magnificent goals that will be etched in the memory of all those who watched the game. From Messi's exquisite through pass to Iniesta that carved the Madrid backline with a hot knife through butter for the first goal, to the central defender, Pique’s cheeky backheel to Messi who scored the team’s second, to the marvelous combination play involving the new signing Fabregas, for the match winner. Barcelona lived up to its reputation as the most fantastic footballing side with pomp and heralding the shape of things to come in the upcoming season.

By the by, did I mention this win marks Guardiola’s amazing 11th title (equaling Johan Cruyff's) out of the possible 14 since he took over as the coach of Barcelona and Xavi's record breaking 16th title at the club?

Very well said, Doc and I hasten to say that I agree on every word you wrote (that includes the dots, the hyphens and the crosses )

In essence it was a win for the beautiful game of football against what you rightly called rabid animals. On and off the field, Real Madrid is making a mockery of the game.

This Real Madrid team, using money that God Knows where it comes from (
and that in itself is an entirely a different but interesting subject) is trying to buy success like the Arabs Sheikhs who have been doing it to fix their tarnished and ugly images using the wealth that does not belong to them or unlawfully acquired..

On the field, under the leadership of Mourinho , no doubt a good coach , but way down the ranks of gentleman and
nobleman list , they are acting like animals. In this match , Pepe , Sergio and Marcelo should have been red carded for acts that were so ugly , it even made a manifesto look quit mild.

Anyway , as true aficionados of the beautiful game of football , we should thank God for Barcelona , Messi , Iniesta , Xavi , Guardiola and the rest. They are really the Flag bearer of beautiful football.

Thanks God for Messi....a phenomenon., a miracle , a spectacle.

In these days, it Is not always that decency, fairness, integrity and morality that wins the day , this morning, though , it did by Barcelona beating Real Madrid.

      Ma chekerim majid jan.

Glad you liked it. I particularly spent a lot of time and attention on the hyphens

but seriously speaking, MOAN-rinho reminds me of those dirty villains we see in B grade movies where they resort to the lowest of dirty tactics when they're about to lose. like that "evil martial arts coach" in karate kid where he instructs his pupil to hit at the bad/injured leg of the 'hero' to gain an advantage!
this shit for brains, moan-rinho also seemed to use marcelo for the exact purpose as this monkey kept on hacking at barca players from the moment he got on!

but in all honesty, I think moan-rinho has truly lost it. not the game, but his mind.
I think he is a very self-centered, spoilt rotten immature person that just cant tolerate rivalries, let alone getting beaten. for such an insecure mind, to be beaten TIME AND TIME AND TIME again (that too not just by 1 goal. sometimes getting humiliated by 5 goals) by barca must have finally taken its toll on his feeble mind and has broken his psyche.
I mean what self respecting person will behave like him pinching or poking another coach's eye in the middle of the mess he created by instructing his pack of dogs to start? is there anyone going to defend such an ass hole (and here, the phrase 'ass hole' truly applies. hell, it was created for exactly this kind of jerks)?

1- "just a couple of players"?? carvalho, pepe, marcelo, ramos, koentrao, xabi, khedira, ... (not to mention other animals that didnt play this game but showed they belong to the same zoo, in other games: arbeloa, albiol, ... etc).
that's nearly the whole on-field players.

although, granted, the petulant babies like ronaldo were more bothered about how to grease up their hair or throwing temper tantrums when failing to get past alvez and mascherano.

          2- and "cry babies"?
coz mere kicks to a kidney or spraining of fingers or scissor tackles that threaten to break legs are not enough and actual legs MUST be broken and internal bleeding & rupture of organs MUST happen for us to allow the players their grievances, right?

3- and yes, as I said, had madrid been instructed well (if they had a better coach) with all their superstars and their capabilities and physical advantages over the weaker barca, could have won the tie. they definitely showed they are capable of it ... IF THEY DECIDE TO PLAY FOOTBALL.
But yesterday, what I saw was one team coming out to PLAY FOOTBALL while the other team came to physically threaten the opponent players and push the limits of 'legal' fouls and tackling

            ... Blah, blah blah..! :bs:
I guess it's nervous times for FC bollywood bandwagon jumpers/fans..! As the dominance party is officially over as evident clearly over these last two games..! Let the wankers whining begin & excuses gets lined up early before the imminent arrival of upcoming defeats in hands of the mighty Madrid ..!
Madrid is finally making smart moves in off season rather than just buying up popular football personalities to market & live off their glourious past ..!
Like Babak said earlier non of these side issues will change the fact that FC Bollywood was outplayed in both legs( especially 1st leg) & were lucky to enter their home match on even grounds..!
Just like a cheap Bollywood actor who's gig is up, Barfelona players can no longer fool the refs into buying them victories by GrassRolling worse than Arabs & persuading them into sending off opponents players..!
All those lateral paasings & worthless possessions are not going to be hyped up so much when the end results in imbarrasing defeats..!
Stay tuned folks..! By end of this year, early next, big Boss Mighty Madrid will be right back in charge & top of the footballing world Yet Again..!
            Ps
Spain will play good football yet again @ euros but I highly doubt if their luck wouldn't desert them this time around ..! They'll be out in 1/4 or Semis..!

I guess we all love football and there is no doubt in my mind these two clubs are the best clubs in the world right now.

They used every single tactic/technique/pressure on and off the field to win the game.

It was obvious that Real wanted badly to come out of Barca's shadow. They were a bit unlucky if you ask me. In two legs, Real played the best game against Barca in the last few games.

It's not fair seeing some rough players in Real but give an Angel face to Dani Alves or Mascherano in Barca.

Anyway, I loved Barca before, now my beloved Cesc Fabregas jointed them and made my dream come true.

It was a good game. Loved it.

                    Cheers,

DD would you accept mourinho (including his tactics) to be TM's coach?

And what if it meant that Iran would go to the world cup and reach the 1/8 finals?

                            ^ what a peculiar question.
how are we ensuring all this?
does fifa say if country X hies coach Y, we shall allow them to get a by until 1/8 finals of WC?

in other words, babak jan, would you cut your shlong off if it meant you would grow a new one + a million dollars?
                            would you?

hiring coach X or Y, no matter how great their record does NOT ensure or guarantee advancing in the WC.
didnt we hire the world's 4th ranked coach ... just to be eliminated even before we reached the WC?
didnt england have capello? how far could they go?

..... unless you are asking the question in a purely & strictly fantastical and imaginary world. which I have a couple of amendments and conditions: YES, if I am also given wings to fly and if moan-rinho accepts me as the right sided midfielder.
                            otherwise, no.

moriniho was a god sent for Real..! sure he is conceded and a master of head games but nothing wrong with that so long as he is winning trophies anywhere he goes..!
Madrid badly needed a high profile coach who's Player Selection opinions actually mattered and could at times supersede that of the utter Piece of Shitt, Football-stupid Perez's..!!
so many other great coaches could not get proper results under his idiotic presidency due to lack of Decision making powers, especially in terms of player selection..!! & this was the same assshole, moron who got rid of my favorite Real coach(Del Busque) due to power struggles between them and send the team reeling in a downward spiral from there on and Turned off many would-be willing suitors (players) by ruining the reputation of the club..! as the big money spending club who do little to flourish their football careers but rather keep piling on a bunch of overpaid almost All attacking footballers irrelevant of the need and the already excess in their playing positions..!
for so long that this prick stays as president its hard to foresee a certain bright future for Madrid..! with Moriniho at helm, at least, he was forced to relinquish some important decision making roles and so long as he stays the club will continue to flourish and get better..!!
and that is what the barfelona fans/lobbyist in media fear the most..! so they keep coming up with cocomongo bs whining to try to force him out of the club..! in hopes of another matarsak taking over and only have idiot perez to outmaneuver..!
