Soheil (smanhoobi), Mansoor, Houman were such great members. It'd be nice to hear from them. Smanhoobi was a kind and generous person - he sent a group of us in Australia jerseys for our PFDC Lions indoor team.

1- stay and bear the insults by a few in the main forum who called me grand father, old fart, etc with tacit rapport of certain admins. To top this off, I got a PM which stated I am "instigating" other members. What did I do? Posted in the Pro Daie related threads. I didn't open any anti Daie threads (Even when he lost 5 in a row in PP). Imagine what would have happened had GN lost 5 in a row in the helm of most popular team in Iran? By mere posting and expressing my opinion in Pro Daie threads, I was "INSTIGATING". How funny!!! that is? The kid in Pro Daie thread calling me this and that, old fart and that is expressing opinion. Me replying on those threads is "INSTIGATING".
Life is too short, I do miss PFDC and talking about Iranian football, but as the French would say "C'est la vie". It seems TM starting to get into the right path. Best of luck to TM players and coaching staff. Miss you all brothers.

P.S. Sorry to see Payman (Dr. Doom) isn't active as much. Paymon and I didn't see eye to eye on many issues (we both loved Barca's style though). However, I love Paymon's out of the box thinking and his high expectation for excellence. His style of questioning everything and not being intimidated to swim against the flow.Right, as the world goes, is only in question between equals in power, while the strong do what they can and the weak suffer what they must.

Ali Jan.
Like I mentioned before , I really wanted to remember good old friends without discussion the reasons for them not being around anymore.
I would not dare to tell you what you have to do or how to handle the situations. I think you are wise enough to deal with it. I also understand that we all have our tolerances and if that is exceeded then it is no point of carrying on.
Also , I would be a hypocrite if I say that we have a professionally run forum , everyting hanky dory with well behaving members , systematic and proficient staff and contents with high level of intellect and maturity. It certainly is far from perfect , but then again what is perfect and who is? Like you and perhaps many other honorable members , I have asked myself many times "What the hell I am doing here?" , some of the people I know have asked themselves this question and never returned back , some like me , continue to ask but have some faith and a glimmer of hope that things will get better at some stage if we continue to contribute to its betterness.
Recently , the football forum was resenmbling a chat room in a bordello with so much profanity. It is disturbing , at least for me , and it can be a determining factor.
All I can say , Ali Jan , if senior people like you leave the forums, it makes the site that much poorer. Conflicts can occur at any time , I just hope that you can deal with such issues and the end result is that we see you posting again.

It took a heart-stopping performance from Team Melli to drag him out , but that was a blessing in disguise.

first of all thanks to majid jan for starting this thread about our dear friends. a very nice touch
alright guys, no need to plan my funeral or anything. I'm still alive and thank you all for noticing my absence.
It's just that most of the time and for long periods there's not much going on with TM or some major clubs.
but being a TM junkie, when they rear their heads, so do I as well.
I also miss a lot of those guys like soheil and ali and kabootar or ...
in fact I did join soheil and ali in their website while it was still working and actually met both of them in one of my trips to L.A. (I was frantically searching for some of the pics we took in some Irish bar. but cant seem to find them! will search later). both genuine lads and great fun. ... even if ali had that irritating disposition about branko.
Ali jan, you know the respect is mutual. and I think sometimes some issues or football personalities (like coaches) bring about controversial divisions and discussions among us. however they never affect the sense of camaraderie between friends here. a heated argument or a passionate word or two uttered does not dent the sense of family here. and SHD NOT.
for example I have come to accept some of us just dont like to see TM strikers score goals, hence their insistence on the single forward formation (you know who ), or there are some of us who dont mind an overtly cautious approach to each and every game as if we're playing against barca while in reality, it is a third rate asian opponent (you know who ) or some of us are affected by flashy moves of a player and his fame and popularity rather than how he fits into a team (again, you know who ) or some of us just want to attack the more fundamental problems of our football in a "series" way rather than the more optimal "parallel" method (you know who, again . come out of hiding, you), and ... etc etc etc
God! have I had this many arguments with this many ppl here? wheeww! I feel "old" and more to the point; TIRED!
but seriously speaking, it would be great to meet the rest of the guys here too. especially the long time members.
cheers all

May this beauty help Ali jaan find his way back to his old home PFDC:
I am in contact with Ali and he is fine and says hello to all. He is kind of occupied at the moment and I am pretty sure he will post again when he finds the right time. Mighty decent of you to ask , Keano Jan.
About that picture ..... I bet it will bring Napoleon Bonaparte out of his grave...let alone any of us to PFDC....I guess Hitler will have a bit of a problem with this piece of beauty ...cuz Napoleon was short and this one is pretty tall and large.... he might not even reach her nipples ...Hheheeeee
