    Remembering our good friends.

In the long years that I have been here , I enjoyed the presence of some fine people whose presence on PFDC has enriched these forums and my discussions/debates/arguments has made it quite an interesting experience for me.

It is unfortunate that some of these members are no longer with us , some on temporary basis while some have left for various reasons. There are also our current friends who are much less active. Of course , for sake of privacy and confidentiality , it is not ethical to discuss the reasons for their absence. My intention here is to salute those old friends , remember them and ask them to join this fine group once again if at all possible and for those who are barely active to tell them that we miss their presence here in PFDC.

The list is long but I kept it simple and I shall start with the third category , our friends who are less active than usual. Top of the list is Ali Chicago , and Dr. Doom . two active members who have been absent for some time. Come back , please , we miss you. I also miss Leviathan , who is still active , but hardly seen.

Another friend that I miss here is , Human , one of the oldest members. He has not posted here for a long time.

Then the trio Soheil , Toos (Siavaush) and Ali Banava who were PFDC staff members , dedicated and skillful.

    Also , Faraz , Ozone , Kabootar .

Please feel free to add more names of friends you miss.

PS: This post was inspired by the re-appearance of OldCoach from his coma ...welcome aboard.

Mehdy was another great member on these boards - he would constantly update us on emerging talents and really helped expand the borders of PFDC by writing articles in Japanese.

Mansoor used to be a part of the staff, he is missed as well!
We thank and support Mr.Kamran Delan for many years of dedication and service to Iranian Football Community.

Soheil (smanhoobi), Omid (O-Zone), Ali (Viva), Mehdy, Kabootar, Siavash (toos), the members we haven't seen in a whole while.
Soheil, Siavash and Ali started their own website and used to stream some games, I don't know how it turned out eventually.

Others who are still active, but not as much as we'd like them to be: Ali C. Mansoor, Peyman.

          On the general forum: Sajjad.

There are a lot more of course...

            Great thread.
Let's see if we can bring more of the old members back. I found many good friends from this site in Southern CA.
            Thanks PFDC.

Some of possible reasons....they are less active..may be...
                    .
1-They are getting older/Losing hope in Iranian system and football/going through the stages of life.
2-The thought of being played with, and fooled by Islamic republic football propaganda,in order to keep the regim, bothers them.
3-PFDC did not try to keep some of them who were unhappy with some aspects of the management....The management may have acted too arrogant and infelexable toward some grievances, when there were too many members.

Bahram Jan...I already mentioned that the reasons for their disappearance should not be an issue for discussion and their privacy should be respected.

No need to to start an inquest here nor to decide who is right or who is wrong.... These were good friend of ours , we worked together , we had long association , we exchanged views and had plenty of good times to remember. We miss them ...and we simply like to remember them for their good deeds. We also like them to come back once in a while and say HI.

This is the motive of the thread.

                        Indeed , Kamran Jan.

I still fondly remember those chat sessions the lasted for hours on skype and all that laughter and jokes we had with Soheil , Siavaush , Ali (Essi) and the rest.
It was an amazing feat if you think of it with 4 or 5 of us from different continents with differing time zones , chatting together as we were next to each other. Although nowadays , Skype and conference calling is taken for granted.

Merci Agha Majid for the thread. Without resorting to Khaleh Zanak bazi of who said what, It came to this
1- stay and bear the insults by a few in the main forum who called me grand father, old fart, etc with tacit rapport of certain admins. To top this off, I got a PM which stated I am "instigating" other members. What did I do? Posted in the Pro Daie related threads. I didn't open any anti Daie threads (Even when he lost 5 in a row in PP). Imagine what would have happened had GN lost 5 in a row in the helm of most popular team in Iran? By mere posting and expressing my opinion in Pro Daie threads, I was "INSTIGATING". How funny!!! that is? The kid in Pro Daie thread calling me this and that, old fart and that is expressing opinion. Me replying on those threads is "INSTIGATING".

Life is too short, I do miss PFDC and talking about Iranian football, but as the French would say "C'est la vie". It seems TM starting to get into the right path. Best of luck to TM players and coaching staff. Miss you all brothers.

P.S. Sorry to see Payman (Dr. Doom) isn't active as much. Paymon and I didn't see eye to eye on many issues (we both loved Barca's style though). However, I love Paymon's out of the box thinking and his high expectation for excellence. His style of questioning everything and not being intimidated to swim against the flow.
"When I see the good in you, you get motivated, feel good about yourself and that creates synergy. It creates an environment where everybody can work better together. I think in the Iranian culture it becomes very ordinary to always see the bad in each other."
Afshin Ghotbi ( Former TM Head Coach)

Nasser Hejazi was the Takhti of our football.
Mohammad Panjali (Former PP and TM Captain)

I also remember Sohail's ( Smanhoobi ) patience with some of younger members, and his Phycologicaly balanced approach ....
I miss Ali Chicago, and Gulkuchik..whom may have had some greivances.......I think Doctor Doom will be back whem ever there are more activities.....Imiss mansour's Ghotbi conspiracy theory.........I miss faraz's Soft mediations.......etc,etc.......
Life goes on......we are all from all corners of the world, and we may never see each other .........it is always best,to stay freinds and wish every one the best.....may we all some day, have a club and meet each other in Azadi stedium....." Some day " !!!!
