CQ calling up 4th keeper to final list, is certainly a message directed @ rahmati..! Most probably still his preferred starter, due to experience..!
I would certainly hope that CQ gives some considerable time to Haghghi (my first choice..!) or other keepers in the camp, so we won't be so inexperienced & raw @ our sub. options should rahmati continues with his recent struggles & to me always shaky fundamentals ..! I'm not 100% Certain that his possible subs would be ahead shoulder improvements..! Yet..! & unlike most, don't rate this Ahmadi guy much, certainly not as a rahmati replacement out of nowhere..!( fact is its easy to look solid as a keeper when u have well organized defense & team in front of u..!)
Rahmati cemented his starting position in TM during Daie's risky play Tactics where he single handily saved some would be 1 on 1 attacks with his great reactions & exceptional anticipations..! All along he remained shaky foundamentally on bossing his box, exits on CKs & dead balls & leadership & communication & organization of his D line..! Well his insane vaakonesh seems to have gone to shitts as of late ..! He still Fails big to boss his 6 yard box ..! Seem to be missing the all important general confidence too & gets unraveled mentally in high stress games & right now simply looks not very convincing & ery much volnerable to our would be opponents..!
Don't think it's right time to bench him though as we have not quite dressed up a would be replacement ....!
IMO, unlike the Daie's TM, CQ's (even Gholabi's TM to a degree..!) is well organized & formidable enough defensively to require more of a Solid Fundamentally, Confident , well poised, Positionally Sound, vocal leader rather than a emotional guy with too much flair for dramatics but shaky & unprofessional GK basics ..!
Outside the shortcomings of Young age (which is a big source of respect in our culture..!)& lack of international Experience , as of yet, I really think the future of TM GKeeping lies in hands of AR Haghighi..!
