its like the hsv-hertha game a few weeks back, when hertha took the lead through a long shot. the ball was going in the net, mahdavikia tried to head it out but he couldnt, the ball hit his head but still went it. Some people counted it as an own goal, but common, even if kia had let it go, it would still be a goal!
and the only other own goal i remember from yahya was in saba against gharafa if im not mistaken??? im not sure against which team it was but it was in ACL and yahya was running back to defend but the ball hit him and deflected into the goal. again, yahya wasnt at fault.
but now, an example of a stupid own goal is nosrati in pas against al ain when there was a cross, and the ball was nowhere near the goal but nosrati tried to kick it but kicked it inside his own goal.
or mohammad salmeen's own goal(bahrain) against japan if u remember that on a freekick for japan, salmeen kicked the ball into his own net when there was no real pressure on him and he could have kicked the ball in the other direction.
There is a difference in own goal's that can be prevented and own goal's that cant be preveneted. as i said, i remember only 2 own goals by yahya, both belonging to the latter category. so i wouldnt really blame him. Ofcourse, about the penalty against china, it was totally his fault and i blame him but like i said, thats the only silly thing i have seen from him
and again, considering his advantages both in defense(his timely tackles and his right decisions when to go infront) and his offensive decisions, u can easily make out he is an intelligent player who uses his mind as well while playing football.

zandi was a playmaker in bundesliga, and ur telling me he isnt the right sub for karimi but mobali of UAE league is? i know zandi did face injury and didnt get enough play time but he has other advantages mobali doesnt have like good phsyqiue and height, professional character, knowledge of football from the "rishe" which is thought in top european leagues and also more coordinated and aware of our other midfields and forwads like kia, hashemian, daei and karimi, because
1)they have all played in bundesliga and in someway share and understand each other style better than the rest which includes mobali.
2)zandi has been playing recently with these guys not mobali, so he is more coordinated with them at the moment.
besides, remember, even a friendly game or a training in a bundesliga can be as difficult (if not more) than an IPL or UAE game. so dont worry about zandi's form, he is practicing in budnesliga, and we have 2 good friendliy games against strong nations (bosnia and croatia), a few other light friendly games and 1 month of training camp. i think thats enough for a professional player like zandi or even hashemian and karimi to get back to form.
anywayz, i feel zandi can be a good sub for karimi, thats my opinion and it seems branko feels the same way about it too (And many others on this site, including F+ forum). if u feel he cant, thats ur opinion and i respect it but dont agree with it.
