    Iran U23 > Iran NT

Beofre I start I just want to clarify that I am not saying this JUST because of the match againts Kuwait and
I know perfectly well that today our team didnt play againts a First rate team and we had some help from our senior squad, BUT, doesnt this performance
make you wonder, how come our NT boys cant play the same? The passing, off ball movement, dribbles, playmaking,
and even defending was just enjoyable to watch.

The motivation in the eyes and the momevemnt of our players were amazing.

Playmakers like Shojaie and Teymorian were the spark of our midfield and outplayed (or at least equaled) our "Asian playe of the year candidate" Javad Nekonam. Today we saw a new left side player who without a doubt deserves a chance to play in TM when you compare him with players like Zare and Nosrati. He is no other than Yavarzadeh (just an example to those who claimed: "we just dont have a replacement player for our left")

Our central defenders, Sepehr Heydari and Jalal Hosseini, although not tested, showed good confidence and brough great speed to our game.

On to Oladi. This guy has played a few matches for TM B and the only thing I have seen from him in those matches and today's match, is the most perfect and complete striker in our football. Even forget his performances in perspolis, this guy plays with superb motivation and skill in TM. He will be the guy who can amaze everyone in the WC.

With this being said, there are even more and more similar players in Iran who has not been treated the same as some of your players which are getting to chance to play for TM since the Asian games. I am talking about Nosrati, Alavi, Kameli, Badavi, Nekonam, Mirzapor, Kabi and the rest. All I ask, is to give the similar chance to our new young talents. I am sure we will get a handful of new "Nekonams" and "Kabis" out of the players we have now.

It is aparent that our TM can and should play a fluent football with what players we have at hand right now.

Mr Branko, this is what our fans mean when they demand "beautidul football". Quick football with plenty of eye-candy and classic Iranian technique. and it is just going to get better and better for our U-23 team with every match they play, together as a team.

well done to our boys. They did well in this game.
What I dont understand is what was the purpose of sending this many overage players to an U23 tournament. while other teams like Kuwait today had a team mainly of U20 players. I can see that they (Kuwait, Qatar,...) are trying to form their U23 team for the next olympics, but why aren't we doing the same?
The only reason I can think of is that IFF is using this tournament for testing and giving match practice to our TM reserve side (Borhani, Enayati, Teymoorian...) as well as trying some new faces like Oladi. If that is the case, then all I can say is well done to IFF. They are using all avaiable possibility to improve TM.

This team will qualify for the Olympics and THERE they will open some serious eyes In Iranian soccer..

Hadi everything you said was SHIRINI for my mouth..
GREAT said..really loved to read it.

I belive we should wait and see how they play agasint the other teams in the tournament aswell because we can say Kuwait was 1 of the weaker teams

I would like to see how this squad perfoms agasint maybe Iraq,Saudi or even Oman..

But what you said is true and we have soo much talents its not true..
I really belive Oladi will open some eyes and if he continues like this in this tournament and in the West asian games he really can earn himself a spot in the world cup squad..

      Oladi is very very talented..
As soo many others in the Olympic squad..

HUGE dissepointment if we do not qualify for the Coming Olympics..

Masood Shojaei amazing..He really can be the new Ali karimi god have sent us..

Yavarzadeh showed some real class and really showed some lessons to Zareh and Nosrati how a left flank player should play..

The future of the Iranian defence line looks very bright indeed..

Hadi jan we appreciate your overview of the game..Thank you

A lot of it has to do with the coaching. I have been saying that a brazilian coach will do good with an iranian team because their style of play is similar. Iran isn't supposed to be playing a european style of play that Branko brings. And now you see how an Iran soccer team is supposed to play. A south american style of soccer.

IFF made a big mistake by sending players like Nekonam to this tournament.

Maybe Enayati or others were understandable because IFF was trying to give other IPL stars a chance but why use players who already play in TM?

Also, we saw that the real spark of the game was from our U-23 players and it was interesting to see them play better than some of our senior players at times.

We saw 1 thing about this tournament wich really opend our eyes..

Enayati is the most..THE most terrible striker..
I hope that we have that proven already and i belive this is the nail in the coffen...

            Oladi and Borhani OUTPLAYED Enayati...Literally..

Enayati fails evertime to show his skills and really pittyful performance agasint Kuwait...

And some people still go on about Enayati..
Btw Hadi jan you may ask them why they wanted Nekonam in the team..

Because if there is 1 player in Iran that can keep a team solid and under control is Nekonam..He is a good player and a good leader..maybe that was the reason to invite him...

But really this tournament we should closly look at..

We can see some new talents coming up..some serious potentioal
and we can see some people we should just give up hope on..((Enayati))

The fact the Nekounam and Enayatee and a few others had to be on this team is a shame.

Ferdousipour asked Yavary why you have taken these players he simply said the REUSLT is important to us. Well, he wanted result against some Kuwaitee kidds, he got it.

I have heard that only 6 of these players can actually play in Olympics. Now what the hell the other 17 players are doing there is a question for Yavaree and Dadkan.

It would have been interesting to see what our real under 23 team would have done, or even better, what our youth team would have done against other youth teams. I guess we will never know.

He was the man speaking on the phone on last week's Navad. As far as I know he is the man in charge of this team.

Yavari picked the team since Simeone really didn't have time to choose his squad.

                      its hard to say,,

first of all, we played with Kuwait's u18 team

secondly, the game is in a completely different competition

and third, we just played 1 game.

I cant help but think that had we not had a Brazilian coach we would have taken on a Defensive fromation and tried to protect our weak lead in the Qatar game, once we had a player sent off.
Its increasingly obvious that Iran is not a defensive team, and we have to attack and use what we are really good at.

First of all great observation by Hadi jan.

I agree with most of you that we should have allowed only our Omid team players for this tournament, but considering the fact that the most creative players on the field in both games so far have been our Omid team players I think that tells you something.

I did not see anything good from Enayati or any other Senior player, as for Nekunam, he simply looks to be exhausted. The players that did catch the eye are Oladi this guy truly has superior ball handling skill, Shojaie also impressed and as Hadi has already pointed out Yavarzadeh amongst a few others.

Of-course the coaching plays the biggest factor in the attractive style football, which we have all observed from our B team.

Another thing to add, it seems to me that according to some of our fans here, our competition is getting younger and younger by the minute, I heard someone first say that Kuwait and Qatar were playing with their Omid teams, than I heard someone say it was their U21 teams, than it was their U19 teams, now some say it's their U18 if there is even such a team. Let me ask you all something, are you all sure that we’ve not been playing their Kindergarten teams??

At least confirm which team is actually playing before down playing our achievements.

                            My two cents.
Throughout history, it has been the inaction of those who could have acted the indifference of those who should have known better the silence of the voice of justice when it mattered most that has made it possible for evil to triumph.

He who joyfully marches in rank and file has already earned my contempt. He has been given a large brain by mistake, since for him the spinal cord would suffice.

Both Kuwait and Qatar had their U20 squads. Our true test will be against Iraq, and thats next
