    On Bahrain !!

I only watched the last 20/30 minutes of the game - when Trinidad players had started killing time. I must confess - For the first time in my life I enjoyed watching a team killing time I never approved of this behavior even when our TM did it against Australia - but yesterday it was a pleasure to see Bahrain players run around placing the ball on the corner spot so Trinidad players can take the kicks !!!

Yesterday all I could think of was "Poetic Justice" - and sad to find out I am still not over Bahrainis for waving Saudi flags in our faces.

            I agree.

I also watched the first game when Bahrain players started grassrolling. It was a shameful display. The actings were so poor, I was surprised that the ref did not hand out a few yellow cards to the player. When T&T players took the ball to the corners in 2nd game, I was LOL with joy.

Any ideas on how FIFA can reduce shameless grassrolling like what Bahrain players did?
Even if you are on the right track, if you don't move, you will get run over. Move on.

I think Fifa has to apply special courses to teach the grass-rollers not to grassroll.... It expenses r very high FIFA believes.. so thats y they have not found a solution for it yet..

They mostly took the ball down to the corner circles very late in the game. Bahrain players were shamelessly falling down and not getting up well before the game's end. Justice was served. The only team that really got hurt was Uzbekistan NT.

Well , I don't know , maybe my eyes are seeing things differently or I must have been watching the other Trindaid vs Bahrain match that was played on planet MARS. I certainly did not feel either of the teams doing much time wasting.

It is in the eye of the beholder , I suppose.....and sometimes it is called OBSSEION ..

i heard they would give lots of extra time after 90 minutes (for example 10 minutes) for the victim of the grassrollers.

The commentators were commenting on the Bahrain players' grassrolling tactics for the better part of the game after Bahrain decided to preserve 1:1 score. There were number of cramps which I suspect the players faked. When there was any contact, player routinely went down and won't get up for a while feigning injury. I don't know what you saw but above is what I saw.
