Asian Champions League 2014: Sepahan back in business, Esteghlal is in trouble!

Aside from Sepahan which is back on track, Tractor and Foolad are both doing well after match day 2. Here is the current table of standings: http://us.soccerway.com/internationa...-stage/r23286/

What do you think is happening to Esteghlal? They still have the highest number of national or ex-national team players, even after the departures of Nekounam, Montazeri and Jabbari. Could this be simply bad luck or an irregularity?

Extremely poor management in running the club.
Pitiful policy on investment in youth.
    Too old a squad.
Horrendous money management resulting in millions and billions in debts and yet, they pursue more expensive purchases!

reminds me of the ''too big to fail'' case of banks that SHOULD HAVE BEEN ALLOWED TO FAIL AND GO BANKRUPT in hindsight. Instead of the gov't bailing out these two spoilt rotten teams with more promises of funds after their thoroughly mismanage it each season, they should say that's it. No more money till you get your shit together. You invest in youth which will support the club for many many seasons and may even bring in revenues in sale, instead of continually buying expensive stars from other clubs with money you ought to pay your existing salaries and expenditures. There's no accountability or sense of restraint in these two ... because they know no matter how they f**k up. They will get bailed out!

But we know this will never happen in Iran due to this nonsensical, moronic ''bipolar'' attitude that gets pushed by everyone. Fans to media to athletes, to gov't officials!
I can go on and on and on

I wonder how we manage to be FIFA's top-ranked Asian team: Iran 42, Japan 48, Uzbekistan 55, South Korea 60.

بدهي پرسپوليس بيش از 40 ميليارد تومان است

This is why I say why bail these buggers out when they are so bloody irresponsible? So spoilt that after such foolish extravagance, they also EXPECT to be bailed out too!

Do-or-die match for Esteghlal tomorrow against Al Jazira while again they do not have the services of Ando due to injury. Also I just read on ISN that Iran's ACL quota for next year will be 3.5 since the AFC is trying to allow chances for more countries to participate. (This apparently does not have to do with performances of the teams thus far.)
