yes. Shojaei wouldnt be suitable for that formation. He would rather be a good sub to slow the game down, if we want to defend the result; which is neccessary at times!

btw, Michael Cox intreprets the line up of Queiorz exactly as I did!!!..hehe....
except he calls it 4-4-1-1 whle I called it 4-4-2 with ashkan hanging behind Gucci, which is the same thing.

its a good read, I just saw it in general forum in TM news thread.
ignoring Shojaei in the line up, the rest is exactly as I have interpretated... he might be spying on me, he published it one day after my post here

There is widespread rumor than Nekonam has a great control over TM and CQ (something like Daie's control over Branko) and that is the main reason why players like Karimi were sidelines.

I initially supported Karimi's inclusion as a possible late substitution. However, I think for the sake of team unity, his exclusion is probably justified. He has an "alpha male" personality that tends to clash with others.
Right, as the world goes, is only in question between equals in power, while the strong do what they can and the weak suffer what they must.

I have watched TM in all its previouse world cup games....I have never felt as good about TM defense as I do now.
