Does Iran have a up and upcoming Star goali

Mirzapour and Roodbarian are 26 and 27 respectivly still young for goalkeeping years

But do we have a up and upcoming goali star, Talebloo is only 23 years old and is pretty young but seems like he is not getting the chance at all

I also heard Irans u19 goali is very talented and have even been compared to Abedzadeh and that he might be the player that in the future fill in his shoes ?

We really need a stable goalkeeper coming up in our ranks,

Mirzapour seems like he is not improving at all and his weaknesses are still there exactly like they were 4 years ago

I just want to know do u guys have a goalkeeper we havent heard about In Iran or outside Iran who is a future prospect

Cause this is 1 area we need to get fixed as soon as possible cause clearly its not even close to be fixed yet

    Indeed.

Our U21 Keeper is the most talented since Abedzadeh and he is said to become our future number one Keeper. He will make regular appearances for Perspolis next season.

I cant remember his name right now. I will try to find his name and more facts about him.

Well there has been rumours about both Talebloo and Mirzapour signing with PP and with Mohammadi and Karimi there already i surely will be very impressed if he can get the nr1 spot

Also there is 1 good thing that he is Persepolis

Persepolis he will be under Arie Haan and under a Dutch Goalkeeping coach who came from Ajax down to PP

He can improve under such conditions and under such supervision

But as i said this news about our u21 Goalkeeper really makes me happy but surely he will have to be something special if he seriously can take a starting role over thoose goalkeepers PP have and trying to bring in

I just wish 1 day we can actually have a goalkeeper in Europe
Maybe he is our saviour and our new Abedzadeh

Inshallah he will qualify with his respective team to the Youth World cup and there he can really showcase himself

I don't think we see an Iranian Goalie in Europe

          Karimi Jaan,

In today's soccer a goalie is the leader of (atleast) the defense. They take over the role of sweeper most of the time (hence playing with foot and the whole Mirzapoor's fiasco). But back to the main topic, goalies as the leader of the defense need to talk to defenders, so language skills is an absolute must. Unless the goalie is super star which I don't think we have anything like that in Iran.

In summary, unless our goalies have decent (English) language skills you won't see any of them in European leagues. But then again one should say never.
"When I see the good in you, you get motivated, feel good about yourself and that creates synergy. It creates an environment where everybody can work better together. I think in the Iranian culture it becomes very ordinary to always see the bad in each other."
Afshin Ghotbi ( Former TM Head Coach)

Nasser Hejazi was the Takhti of our football.

              Under Lahaf Jaan

My comement about goalie was in serious European Leagues. Greece isn't considered even a second tier league in Europe and what I mentioned was the rule not the exceptions.

So there could be exceptions and someone chooses Mirza (LOL now that is a Laughing Out Loud) despite him not having language skills and hence lack of communication with defenders, but that will be exception.

Hope it clarifies my comment earlier in this thread.

We don't have any solid keeper and I don't know any promising youngsters. Without deep changes in youth work, this won't change.

If anyone of you living outside Iran has a young brother or cousin, force him to become a goalie!

i think mirzapour's main problem is unfortunately his intelligence.
he doesnt seem the smartest of footballers in TM and its kinda clear from the way he talks (not accent, but wat he says!)

however, yahya and mahdavikia are very intelligent and its not surprising they make the right decisions most of the times. yahya did score a few own goals but i wouldnt really call this stupidity, cos he took the risk and chance of saving our goal no matter how small the chance was. However, his chip penalty against china in Asian cup 2004 was very unexpectable, silly and irresponsible of him.

but yes, in general, mirzapour does have problems with communication as well, and this is wat i like about talebloo, he always added a shield of confidence to the esteghlal defenders which made them less stressed and less error prone!

we have talebloo he can stop penalty shots from daie and as we all know that is how daie scores these days so if he can sotp daie and he can help his team win the IPL then he is good for TM by the way merzasurakhpoor plays in the same IPL and we all saw the type of goales he was letting in the net.
if a blind branko can let merzasurakhpoor paly on TM then for sure talebloo should also be playing.
I do not see how some of these players on TM can come play and then sleep if I sucked as much as merzasurakhpoor I would not even look at a football ball let alone paly with one.
these guys go to the the world cup and what to they do one walked for 90+min the other let in 3 easy goals and what did nosrate do?
thank GOD golmo scored for us and not against us. nekunam slowed down the game, branko pulled out karimi
they should have changed their the name of their country to afganestan then people would give them respect for being able to play like that when living in war.
merzasurakpoor is a shame for TM.
the Biggest shame of all is branko for keeping such players like merzasurakhpoor in net.

Well if u want to look at it, it all depends on who the new coach that comes after World cup will be choosing cause when a new coach comes in everybodies position in the national team will be put in risk

cause the new coach might have new players he want instead or etc,
