if god forbid, jabbari and koushki are both out for long term,
we have only 1 sweeper montazeri
only 1 DM kazemi
only 1 other midfielder who can fill jabbari's position - akbari
and no substitute for any of them on the bench

ofcourse, there are other alternatives like majidi or manei to play instead of jabbari but i doubt they can do it good enough.

4 games left to end of first half of season... the boys should be really careful!!

Hassan Agha, do you mean PCL (posterior Cruciate legimant) or (MCL) Medial cruciate legimant? I torn all of these, and as far as I know (which is limited granted there is no exterior Cruciate legimant).

If it is PCL or MCL torn, that is atleast a 6 month deal (at least). If Jabbari suffered this, that is a huge impact, but Koushki's absence won't be felt and easily filled by other defenders.

Yaddolah Akbari plays DM (beside Kazemi) as well.

This is really bad news, but a good in form team should not depend on only one player. Qn needs to find alternatives and come up with a good plan.

I believe Akbari can do a good job replacing Jabbari. I'd play Kazemi as DM, Akbari a little behind Jan Vario and give Jan Vario a more free role to move behind the strikers.

thats wat i thought as well but i remember ghalenoi tried him 1 game and it was a waste. it was when ravankhah got injured but before janvario started playing for us, so probably around week 3 or 4....
wat i dislike about majidi specially in that position is that he doesnt pass too much and in that position, passing is very important.
however, i must say it was only beginning of the season when the whole team wasnt playing great anyways, so, i am ready to give him the benefit of the doubt to try it again. afterall, thats the original position where majidi started his football from before hejazi started using him as a striker due to shortage of strikers in the team at some point of time...


but like amin said, we really have to be careful while bringing him back to the team. we shouldnt rush into things and turn him into another navidkia

Should be an easy win for SS... Malavan has nothing to offer this season...

Unfortunately more injuries will come soon for both PP and SS once ACL begins... I'm beginning to think how good the physical preparations are in Iran... our players just don't seem to have enough stamina to run the standard 10-11 km per game... they get tired soon, hence the injuries... I may be wrong!

on the contrary, i think it will be a difficult game, specially if the field has some water in it which is highly probable...
