I have watched all ACL games and he was one of the worst. He has lost his speed, he cannot defend 1v1, he is stiff and very weak in possession even under moderate pressure. This isnt to knock the guy, he is 34 and simple realities of aging.

if you just want recent example look at how free he leaves his guy, al dossari for 2nd goal vs Al ahli, min 1:51 of this vid. It wasnt even like he didnt notice the guy, he noticed and simply had no speed to catch up.

in possession first touch is super weak, prime example 1:25 of this vid vs al duhail. I mean what experienced player touches that back towards middle then takes wild whack at CF.

There are many more like these. The guy is past it since a long time ago sadly.

Azmoun is 100% Sunni. We have had other Sunnis too like Bakhtiar Rahmani.
