Majidi is leaving to coach UAE, he announced in IG post.

Yeah, hopefully he succeeds and comes back as an even better coach.
He still has an ACL-title to win for us fans

I personally think Nekounam is an upgrade over Majidi. Personally wanted Stramaconi to come back, but Neko would be the best option for Iranian managers.

Nekounam has done a great job at Foolad, no doubt.
But coaching Esteghlal is different and a very difficult task. Majidi did a fantastic job, so i rate him higher than Nekounam atm.

Let's see what Nekounam can do( if chosen). I'm ok with him taking over.

If Javad doesn't take the job, I wanna see Farzad step up for the position. He's a true blue and I know he would work from the heart. He surely deserves it after being an assistance on a team which finished with the best league result ever.

I don't get what you guys see in Strama. He's a failure.
So many better coaches. Bring in Strama and you will lose the title.

Both him and Shaffer were great coaches for SS. They both were passionate about SS which is a must.
Strama was just getting started before management decided to low ball him with his money

They both lost.

Strama especially has shown he's a poor coach. Look at his results in Qatar. With all that money and he is conceding 8 goals to Asian mickey mouse clubs. He has excellent agents though.

that money is better spent on players. majidi isnt a world class manager. i think he will be exposed in dubai mall league, we had a great team of incredible talent. nevertheless, he deserves credit for giving us invincibles season

Definitely can't blame him. He won't even get half of that in Esteghlal plus 1/10 of the pressure of Esteghlal.
Finishing 8th or higher in Dubai Mall League would be successful for them
