In PGL a team can have more than three foreign players in the roster but only three of them can be on the field at the same time. Sepahan currently have Januario, Janjus and Emad. If they hire another foreign player then at least one of the four should be benched.

About foreign GK's in the PGL, it is not allowed because they wanted all the teams to use Iranian GK's so that the level of Iranian goalkeeping is improved. I am not sure if it is a good idea or not. In Azadegan league (Iran's second football division) teams can have foreign GK's though)

^ Thanks dude. If they want Iranian GKs to improve, they should build the foundation by the root. Since Azadegan is a root of Iranian football, what's the point in letting foreigners play there then? Whatever. I guess it's a decent reason.

Does that mean that 4 foreign players can play in 1 game but they could not play together on the field in that game ? e.g. Mohammad reza , Janjus and Janaurio on the same feild but then another foreign player sub for janaurio ? is allowed ? right , thats some stupid rule ! lol

گلهای سپاهان را در این دیدار فابیو جانواریو و سید مهدی سید صالحی به ثمر رساندند.

- این دیدار در مجموعه المپیک کیش برگزار شد.

Sepahan will play without injured Jamshidian and Hosseini this weekend. I think the only team this season who has a chance to challenge Esteghlal in the PGL is Sepahan. And if we lose against Esteghlal, we are pretty much out of the race for championship. Zob and Persepolis have their own internal problems, Naft and Tractor do not have a squad strong enough to win a PGL title.
