Siyasi ba Ghirat..football o bi khiyal shooo

These are very sensitive moments in history of iran.. Women life freedom movement is very respectfull movement.anyone that has mother sister daughters is or should be 100% behind this movement. Persian women are very intelligent individuals but for centuries they have been getting discriminated against and they have been treated bad and they have every right in the world to start
this movement to fight for their rights.
So please don't discriminate against football fans, YOU KNOW HOW IT FEELS TO GET DISCRIMINATED AGAINST, so don't do that to us.
US FOOTBALL FANS HAVE feelings TOO. Watching team melli in WC ITS OUR GOD GIVEN RIGHT, SO PLEASE STOP all this talk about tm getting ban ,IT GIVES ME EMOTIONAL STRESS THINKING ABOUT .if I care about the women life freedom movement , Then I expect the same in return from them to care about my football and my feelings too. Siyasiyon ba Ghirat STOP WITH TM getting ban
Most of us football fans outside of iran we been away from iran for decades (I myself left iran at age 10 because my parents didn't want me grow up in that atmosphere and have never returned.)so iran football is the only thing I have which let's me keep my memory from iran and I keep my farsi strong only because of tm and persepolis...I am sure every fan got its own reason supporting tm.
some fan's outside of iran are born outside.
    Some fan's don't speak farsi.
    Some fan's can't read farsi.
we all have one thing in common and that's team melli football iran.
Team melli football iran it was never team melli shahanshahi iran
or its not team melli ir.IT IS TEAM MELLI FOOTBALL IRAN..
my condolences to all the family who lost love ones in the current
Women life freedom movement and our prayers and support are with all of you, so please stop all this talk about ban on tm it hurts my feelings.
I expect shahzadeh come out and CONDONM people which are against tm...

I can understand both sides, but I think that most of the fans agree that the joy of watching TM has decreased a lot. I used to look forward to every camp and every game, but I really don´t know if I will feel any joy if Iran wins games in the WC, like what´s the point?

Football is the most important thing out of the least important things, but I agree that banning the team is not the right thing to do. Football is for the people and does not represent any regime or politicians.

I think Iran is the TM with the most political and extra-football stories polluting every WC. Don't think North Korea had so many during wc2010. It kills the joy every time.

This time is worse but not only it is the very last interesting WC but also the joy and excitation will come back a little bit when the competition will start.

TM will use this World Cup to politically protest IR's treacherous oppression - just watch. It will be great for Iranians.

We will also beat England and USA and be in the second round.

"This is a totalitarian system whose presence people feel in their blood and in their flesh on a daily basis. And it’s one that does not grant freedoms of any kind, or accommodate people’s demands in any way. What is increasingly clear is that there is clear demand for change in the regime. What the people want is regime change, and no return to the past. There is a very real possibility of regime change." - Nasrin Sotoudeh

                  Back in the 80s
there was a lot of house backyard weddings in iran.
And majority of them get shut down by basijies.
basiji logic of shut down the wedding was
HOW DARE YOU DANCING TO MUSIC WHILE OUR KIDS
GETTING KILLED FIGHTING IRAQIES and would arrest people.
                  My suggestion to all is
Care and mourn for protesters AND care about the WC time.
with so many ks of civilization we can do both..

Once Iran plays in this World Cup and it brings out millions onto the streets, where they can protest the regime in numbers never seen before - these people calling for a ban will look very, very stupid. It's a self-defeating proposition.

Disaster. I hope he's ok. Not blaming him, but what was he thinking going to Iran at this time, particularly at that location!

                          Back in 2001
iran vs Bahrain wcq was rumored
To be fixed since in 1998 so many people came out in the street
Back in 98 that they don't want deal with it again.
                          CHIRO BELAZEVIC HAS SAID
AFTWR HIS DEATH PEOPLE WILL FIND OUT THE TRUTH.
last I checked chiro is battling cancer and is in grave conditions.
how will chiro tell the truth after his deathbed?
is the truth of iran vs Bahrain match is hand written by chiro
In his safe box? Does his lawyer have a letter?

Kateb jan, I actually deleted my post cause I didn't see a necessity for putting down your passion for TM. I have been a big supporter so I understand where you're coming from.

Personally, I haven't found the urge to follow TM news much due to these past events but like you said, it's a personal choice. I'm not pro TM getting banned but to be honest I couldn't care less whether they do or not anymore. I guess it affects people differently but I truly don't believe that with pro-regime players like Amiri and Torabi, or pussies like Taremi the TM players will actually end up voicing out people's concern to the world like some claim. In fact, it could backfire and you could have Torabi score and suddenly celebrate with a picture of Khamenei..

Regardless, I don't think in either of the above scenarios majority of the people in Iran will be happy so I stand with them. P.S. my girlfriend was caught in the protests in Iran and is still going through the trauma and issues this brought for her so I am in fact more emotionally involved. But there are MANY MANY people like me that are some how emotionally involved and my guess is that they outnumber those that are still kinda neutral or will be celebrate if Iran even wins the world cup.

Cheers pouya jan you are class act and fresh Air of being persian
and care and respect others opinion even if you don't agree.

i don't have expectations of tm players doing anything. I don't think is fair to have expectations of them doing something, they all have family members in iran which can get punish for their action.
the THING THEY CAN DO CANGET AS MUCH POINTS AS POSSIBLE
THAN PARTY WILL BE ON IN STREETS ON IRAN. THERE IS ALSO POSSIBLITY OF them getting forced to not Win matches, so there won't be street celebration but with cq in charge the chance of that
                              is not a lot.
I think if there was vote in iran majority over 80% will VOTE FOR TM TO PLAY.
sorry to hear about your gf and her experience Hope she get better.
Once tm win everyone will celebrate , and seeing videos of mahsa
singing and dancing her personality tells me SHE BE CELEBRATING IN HEVEN ONCE TM WINS...sometimes celebration is form of mourning and protest.
