Overall really disappointing..... Granted, it is a bunch of IPL players, playing for the first time together, but still, you would expect that IPL should have better players than this. I mean is this really the cream of the crop from IPL?!!!
Most of the players play with their heads down, do not make the obvious passes, get dribbled easily, get knocked off the ball too easy, physically weal, ball-watching when not in possession, etc etc.
Most of them probably have good technical skills, but that is about it.
Not a single decent cross into the box, not even from Rezaian.
If Azmun does not make it, Zahedi is a must. Wish Allahyar was healthy.
God save Ezzi, because there are no alternatives!!
Amiri still a workhorse, but this is a weal Nic team, nothing like what we will see at WC.
Overall, hoping for a miracle revelation between now and the first game. May be CQ introduces someone new like he did with Haghighi in '14 and Majid in '18 and we will all be surprised.

I really miss the Morteza Pouraliganji of old. He was a beast.
But at this stage, Shoja Khalilzadeh is better than him.
"This is a totalitarian system whose presence people feel in their blood and in their flesh on a daily basis. And it’s one that does not grant freedoms of any kind, or accommodate people’s demands in any way. What is increasingly clear is that there is clear demand for change in the regime. What the people want is regime change, and no return to the past. There is a very real possibility of regime change." - Nasrin Sotoudeh
Wed. November 16. Will not be televised and will be played behind closed doors.
